Spraying primer with R500 LVLP spray gun at home garage

Today I’m spraying primer with my R500 LVLP spray gun at my home garage using my Lvlp spray gun I purchased from Summit racing which comes with a 1.7 tip.

I'm getting ready to spray my 91 RS that I've been working on since springtime, next week I hope. It seems like the prep never ends. .. Can't wait to see this one finished too... 3rd Gens are getting harder to find around here.

The prep work is what takes the longest but is also what makes the paint job…if they’re getting harder to find you might want to hold on to yours for when they become worth a lot of money 💰

Aye 🤫 everything on this channel stays on this channel 😂😂. Good thing it’s just the first prime idk if u plan to prime it a second time after u fix the imperfections u don’t like. Either way I’m sure it’ll end up fine

I've had my SprayIt (and one of my HF HVLP guns) get buildup where the air comes out on the air cap.Is that normal? If not, any idea what causes it? I clean them all immediately after use. How did the Maserati turn out? Thanks for doing this video so we could see the results of the primer on the camaro.

You can definitely get build up on the cap which is normal and I’m close to spraying the Maserati

Big homie!! Which gun is this from Summit Racing? I see the one with 1.7 tip is out of stock so can I buy the gun with 1.4 and change the nozzle to a 1.7?

Yeah this is summit racing and I think you can change the tip and needle
