You said it all when you said when you get tired you make mistakes your normally wouldn’t make. You should have a video on how to or at least how you set your spray pattern on your guns. Lots of people probably thinking they can just pick up a spray gun and just start spraying when there is an art to it. And you have mastered that art again great job

Sprayway you did it again my man . You laid that paint & clearcoat down smooth , made it look like a blue piece of glass ,that color blue is nice. Another fantastic job done by SPRAYWAY. There is the glass house look and then if you want your ride to be off the charts there's the SPRAYWAY look that is what you want and need if you want your car breaking necks. Man looks great! My buddy just had his 86 dually repainted all factory white looks great but has super orange peel almost blotchy the painter said O I don't mess with that stuff factory paint jobs had a texture to it. My buddy can't find anybody to color sand it make the paint flat and shiny they keep saying we don't know how much paint is there we don't wanna be responsible

Yes, they’re correct. Buffing a job that you didn’t spray could be very costly due to you not knowing how much clear was applied.

@@SprayWayCustoms That's what I told him to. He's a big engine guy not a body guy Lol. I spent a few years in autobody but it was boring insurance shops we didn't do any customizations. I wet sanded dirt spots on new panels that were freshly painted thats about it.

that second coat of clear always lays down flatter than the first one. Yea everyone gets some orange peel. more pressure and a good gun when you have good ventilation minimizes it. But you need to have good air flow in your spray area (booth) or you cant see when your spraying it.

Man! I’m over here using 1000 and 1500 grit to flatten the orange peel and you’re using 600.that will be so much faster..I gotta try this ASAP!! Thanks!

If you plan on re-clearing it you can use a much aggressive grit. I wouldn’t use 600 if I was planning to buff though.

Another great piece of work..."Spray"can you do some sit down videos with clips from the Silverado, Green Camaro and this Caprice and give your viewers an idea of the time/hours spent on each project to give us an idea of how long it took you on each one...I think it would give a better perspective to ppl on why custom paint jobs cost what they do
