Those tracks worked really well, I liked seeing the suspension move. These are the best videos for seeing how things operate, farming videos are the best. Well done.

It was some very good footage of just how the track suspension works, both externally and internally. Tractorspotter ALWAYS goes the extra mile for his viewers. Remember Potato Cam?

Even with that kind-of half-track set up, and the soil compaction from those tires must be incredible. It’s cool how that backhoe cleaned its tires. I thought he was just playing around at first, until I saw all the mud flying off. 😄
@MechaNick03 Жыл бұрын
I think tracks spread the load much better than wheels so the compaction will be much less
@jimsvideos72018 жыл бұрын
Good on you for literally getting down and dirty to get all of this, and good on the excavator operator for shaking off the worst of the mud like that.

well it should. It does not destroy it. Grass and that is what wheat and barley are is very tough. The Tracks are ruber tracks not steel like those of an excavator

Question? What is the purpose of tracks on a trailer? Are they powered like a hst through the tractor, to reduce the ground support needed instead of wide tires or are they strictly for design by the engineers who designed it

I think part of the problem is that he is lifting a lot more of the pile than ends up in the bucket when he lifts it, then it evens out after he pulls away, and that he is immediately backing up as he lifts it.
