@@Spreadsheeto well, I'm not actually getting the embedding to open when I send the excel sheet to someone else. Do the files have to be on a shared drive for someone else to open the embedded pdf?

this method wont work if I protect my file. if I leave it out of protection anyone can delete it. is there any other way or maybe a way to protect my file while object link still work?
