Love Spright Melffy and all the different variations of the Melffy spright. I personally like to run more Melffy names like 3x Wally, 2x Puppy, 1x Pony, 1x Catty, 1x Pinny, and 1x Kalantosa what’s great about this version it allows more disruptions and more defensive options since I don’t like running Anubis and even with this package I can still fit in the Toad, and Nimble Beaver package. All that you would need to put in would be the handtraps I like running evenly matched since it just destroys tearlaments. The difference in Extra deck is just me running 1x Herald, Merry Melffys, Melffy of the Forest, Joyous Melffys, and the Zeus package since it comes up a lot more than i would expect.

What about the idea of running 2 deep sea divas and one orochi instead of nimble beaver for summoning baronne de fleur

Instead of a second herald of arc light I suggest the synchro melffy that lets you bounce a card or a mannequin cat that lets you summon end of Anubis on your opponents turn

I like the idea of the melffy synchro, not a fan of anubis but I am running mannequin for aquas.

I didn’t expect to love melffy spright this much. The synergy it has is very nice, and being able to search beaver with catty was an unexpected bonus. I’m having better results with it than tear, but I guess that’s because literally everyone is building against it

As long as you have access to the Spright engine, Beaver and Swap Frog, you can start your plays with Beaver, use Gigantic to summon Swap from the deck and then return it to hand and special summon by discarding the other Swap. This way you can get all 3 Swaps in the graveyard too.

Tear is definitely not a must-play. I gotta say I have also been doing well with Salamangreat in Diamond, it stomps Tear going first as you basically get out a couple negates/disruptions and Abyss Dweller due to having that rank 4 access, but going second is tough especially if they have the Ishizu in the gy. It is also good vs some of the floodgate decks due to the Salad link 3 which bops them back to the deck along with Foxy which can stop annoying stuff like "Lose One Turn". What is fun is if Tear uses Havnis' effect during my turn, I can Ash it and then add Ash back to my hand due to the link 2's effect to use it again next turn, too. All the main deck Tear monsters' effects get negated by Ash. Also, Accesscode Talker's effect cannot be reacted to by the opponent, which comes in clutch vs Ishizu I really think the whole Tear 0 thing is a bit of a meme, so many people playing anti Tear it makes it harder for them to actually win. The Bo1 meta (as opposed to something like Bo3 with siding) kinda fixed the "tier 0" issue imo

The fact that everyone is running Graveyard-hate cards, shufflers and/or most people are playing Tearlaments means IT'S a Tier 0 Meta. Would like to know you why said it wasn't. Spright is the second strongest deck right now, along with Laberynth. Branded got hit pretty hard with all the shufflers running rampant, and people maining Ghost Bell.

Deck looks very solid but imho -1 herald for +1 merry melffys, I'm trying to figure out how to fit Zeus into this extra but I can't think of anything except going down to 1 elf or 1 gigantic which seems very meh, also potentially put in end of anubis or numen erat testudo for mannequin cat targets

Out of curiosity, why no Zeus engine in the ED? You'd have to cut 3 for the sky cavalry, downerd, and Zeus but I feel like it could definitely come in handy esp. going second into boards

Is it still worth to run the shuffles even if I don't have diviner? I just feel like most of the time I brick with them since spright has no ways of even sending it from hand to grave(correct me if wrong). And hoping for them to land in grave by millers seems kinda coping.

I'll tell you at 4, if your opponent mills you're almost always getting atleast 1 shuffler, that's just probability. Maybe run less if no diviner tho

I'm tryna show people decks OTHER than tears that will do well in diamond rank. This small mellfy package makes spright allot better against tear. If you want a fun silver rank deck with more melffy cards that's not really the point of this video.
