This is a interesting idea for a universal joint, it uses a external spring to keep it straight instead of friction springs in the pivots so it operates very smoothly yet can hold a socket up to make it easier to use in awkward places.

Neat idea. (I have used electrical tape to keep swivel adapters from flopping around.)

Wow, never seen one of these. You discover the most unusual stuff. Thanks for sharing! This bad boy makes sense, but I would have to try one in order to keep it. Great review, as always, Ty.

Nice review as always! I prefer swivel sockets over universal joints but I have and use them occasionally. They are indicative of a frustrating problem, but CAN save the day.

Yes. This is correct. I have the set which was all three sizes. Bought about 20 years ago.

Duck tape always helps and works great when your pin is falling out also.

Hey dude, I saw on the bottom of the U-joint that it said PM. That means Popular Mechanics. That's its brand.

Great review thank you. I wonder if the letter's Pm that appear just before chrome vanadium stand for "Popular Mechanics" as the brand.
