Loved your design. Could you please give more explanation about weight distribution and spring power?
@longkang67442 жыл бұрын
weight distribution can be confirmed from the 3d software, spring stiffness has to be carefully selected together with the design of its attached points

@@longkang6744 TL; DR: I wont share the design. And that's okay, it's your baby.

spring power? theres no such thing ..

@@typebinI was learning/Curious, I didn't know if its called spring constant or stiffness constant and I asked anyway. I would have appreciated if you had pulled your head out of bull's ashole not being bully here on my 3 year old comment. But thanks for let me know anyway.

Is there any role of friction here? Or are the joints almost frictionless?
@longkang67442 жыл бұрын
the friction term is quite small

How can pure springs balance a multi-DOF system? It must be using friction too
@rileydes203410 ай бұрын
You can see the motors at the end of the arm controlling 2 degrees of freedom of the nib itself. The Springs are only technically balancing 2 degrees of freedom with the rotating base I think just being friction based.

use solidworks to learn to design the parts and then u can simulate the movement including forces (including gravity) using solidworks too
