Good morning from Piqua Ohio everybody. Same old thing there's nothing better than a nice beaver. Every time I get with my brothers. We talk about all the nice beavers we've seen.

you guys are awesome. You guys what we call in french "des bon vivants" who have "joie de vivre". There is no way I would want to do this type of work, I'll stick to the firewood processing business but I truly enjoy following you virtually online. Thanks for another awesome video Chris.

Love watching you guys. Your sense of humor reminds me much of my father and I’s when we’re together. Keep it up! I also like that y’all use Vic longspring traps, and they work so well! On a side note, what are you using for drowning weights? Thank you for your time.

Really enjoyed the Beaver trapping videos, brought back memories of high school and college trapping. Do you process the beavers yourselves? Skin flesh and dry? Or sell them green? Also really enjoy the woodcutting channel. During the energy crisis of the 70’s my day cut a hole in the living room floor and we heated the house with a wood stove, thus I was introduced to woodcutting.
@outofthewoodyard2 жыл бұрын
Thanks William, there will be a lot more trapping videos to come! Nice, a hole in the floor! I like it!

Hiya Chris/Kenny, looks to me like a good few days work. How many did you trap over those few days? Kenny is going to have to take more care when ‘chuckin’ beaver, otherwise he might just break the back cab window on his truck 😃! Who’s got the job of skinning them ? Len (Devon 🇬🇧)
@outofthewoodyard2 жыл бұрын
Just keep watching, we have a bunch of trapping videos to come, we trapped for 3 weeks and caught 529! We sold most as is and sknined some for hats!

You and Kenny are both really entertaining to watch. I just recently subscribed to your new channel, Out of the Woodyard. I have been subscribed to your other channel, In the Woodyard, for quite a while now and can't wait to see more content on both of your channels! Also, I have always wondered which one of you is older, you or Kenny? It seems like it could go either way lol! Anyways, keep up the good work Chris, I love watching your videos! GNI

What happens to beaver after you slip him out of his coat. That #36 count happen very often. Do your fur buyers in your area give you a fair deal. My Grandmother raised Chincillas for a few years & just broke even. Now I know why you guys are busy year round to stay in shape so you can cut wood or trap. Good watch. Have a good one .
@outofthewoodyard2 жыл бұрын
We sell in the whole carcass this year hide for hats, castor for perfume, meat for food/fox&mink, tail for leather. Yup, trapping and firewood are a lot of work!
@danahasson28922 жыл бұрын
Well Chris being that you're throwing beavers in the back of the truck now everybody's gonna ask if you have a broken window with a beaver instead of firewood .
@outofthewoodyard2 жыл бұрын
That is actually possible! You will see a day we caught 64, the truck was loaded!

How long did it take to skin 36 beavers? That’s a lot of beavers 🦫.
@outofthewoodyard2 жыл бұрын
We sold almost all of them in the carcass this year, we did skin about 20 for hats. Our best day was 64! Keep watching, I have a bout 10 more videos coming! We have caught and skinned all of them (30-40) in the past in a single day but that is not much fun and we are happy to sell them in the carcass!
