Interesting observation. Come to think of it, that does often seem to be the logic with many religions. Angry gods are often succeeded by benevolent ones that promise some sort of eternal respite of the soul. Sometimes it'll become a new religion, sometimes it'll even happen within the same religion. I'm not sure if newer is always better, but very interesting observation.

Love how the dice always help the story Imao Fabian vanquishes every enemy he sees with his dog, doing what he thought he never could, even saving his best friend from fatal death by using his new self’s silk 80,000 string sheet with fire in it. Adaine finally gets to see her parents perish and her sister is there to save her and admit that maybe they can still work this out, she got familial love finally. Fig does what she had to this entire season, saves her father (GORTHALAX FRLL GODDAMIT) she gets the girl, saves the girl, accepts she isnt an impostor in her own skin and she is awesome, actually saves BOTH OF HER FATHERS cuz Gilear got his big moment! Gorgug gets to prove he is a vital part of this team, he isnt dumb at all. He finishes one of the final curses, even striking down the tree onto the nightmare king while at it. Riz of course, gets to kill off Kalina with a gun his father gave him. Finishing something planned from his birth, finishing his dad’s job and accepting rest for *ONCE* And of course our girl Kristen gets a nat20 and saves everyone again from the final boss, accepting the foreboding King to see a scared and almost gone God that she helps live again. She gets a god she can finally rest easy on and accept.

I was fully expecting the unnamed goddess to just be Kristen. How she was dead for 850 years in the last episode wasn’t just a fear thing it’s been her the whole time and was reborn as this goofy teen after destroying her name and not remembering who she was similar to Ayda. She doesn’t know, she’s her own god. I was fully ready for that after Brennan said she was small and Kristen’s same size. I thought it would just be a mirror or something they walked inside the Nightmare King to find and when she came out after the conversation, everyone just saw Kristen standing there in the robes. That would have been freaking amazing.

i've been in an autistic burnout and this show is the only thing that's managed to bring me joy lately. the emotional breakthroughs are earned through excelently crafted narrative and the chemistry between this talented cast that clearly loves each other is super heart warming. i'm so grateful to every creative that makes dimension 20 possible but most of all i'm grateful to brennan, he has a deep well of wisdom and empathy that specially shines through jawbone that is beyond comforting. i wish my cognition wasn't all messed up by my current mental health struggles so i could express my gratitude better, i haven't done my feelings justice.

Amazing adventure with absolutely insane rolls. Honestly, Brennan clearly was planning on killing at least a few characters but like always, they managed to overcome and get really creative. Riz went from bumbling his rolls when distracted by his friends to being an absolute badass and I loved it. I love that the Unicorn was uniquely deadly. If they didn't immediately banish it, I'm pretty sure it would've been several casualties and a lot of misery. Amazing. A+ series.

The imagery of the Adaine's fathers speech is so fucking dope. I wish moments like that got an animation. Just a quiet clearing, an aristocrat clad in armor with a fabled sword on his hip, the music turns scary as he decides to melt his child's mind, then the sudden betrayal and the action that comes immediately after. It's poetic, it's beautiful, it's art

Edit 1: Two hours in, it is amazing, it's perfect that fcking online banking and live streaming are actual ways to fight in this. Just got to the Nightmare King appearing (ig?), am super hyped for the rest. Edit 2: Finished it and I can just say I am so happy that I haven't seen it when it first came out because my god I could not wait years for next part, I can bearly wait the few weeks! This was perfect and just... Kristen creating a "new" god, so on brand for them. The relationships forming and strenghtening. Aelwyn my beloved. Ayda too, the thing with Garhy nearly made me cry. And of course, the ending. Just perfect, cannot wait for more, thank gods that FHJY is just around the corner. HOOT GROWL!

I figured out the puzzle about who the nightmare king was in the last episode, and suspected it towards the end of the one before that. I'd ask how none of the players figured it out, but then I was binging the episodes and they were filming each episode a week apart, so that's likely why. If I was in their place I'd have probably been stumped up until the end, too.

I know someone else has already said it, but I'm autistic too. The first time I watched this video I sobbed. (and I'm still crying through my second watch) Truly from very deep within my soul, thank-you. The sense of belonging I got from hearing a character I loved and related to being declared autistic was life changing. There are so many characters that dance around the autism diagnosis but never reach it. Representation is important.
