Hey! You’re doing great. I love how transparent you’re being. I get how intimidating it can be to realize that suddenly people are listening and it makes sense that that could shift things a little bit, but I hope you continue doing this for yourself (like you said)! It’s encouraging (and refreshing) to see others creating, processing, and living for no other reason than to be doing those things.

Your home feels so cozy and really puts me at ease. You also have a very calming presence, which I personally find therapeutic. I'm not surprised your channel is growing, congrats! Minimalism is not just a fad, it makes a lot of sense and is what we should ideally all be working toward for the sake of this planet.

This year I really want to make it a priority to build my own personal style/wardrobe. So I am spending a little bit more money on clothing, but I want to make sure I absolutely love the item that I buy and also make sure that it is of better quality. That way the items will also last longer. This video is so inspiring!

So glad I found your channel, I purchased you ebook yesterday and I am going to work my way through it to reduce even more. I like your approach of asking yourself these questions, especially would I buy it now...thats the one that's going to help me a lot. I loved this vlog and I do agree with others here- your shots of pouring water over the tea and the process of making tea are super relaxing. I only have some feedback through(which I am hoping is constructive) - the background music could be lower in volume and maybe a bit more slower, relaxing tune. I also think the part of the tea making process would be wonderfully soothing without the background tune, just on its own! Much love xoxo!

This is such a good reminder that a curated wardrobe doesn’t happen in one day or even one season! After having a baby My style has changed dramatically. Slowly I’m finding pieces that will last and that I really love, and coming to terms that I will never have a 20-30 piece wardrobe with a child around 😂. I also used to wear almost only black but now never wear any of those pieces! Love you videos, thankyou 💙💙

I realised this after finding out I need a black top for a hen do I’m going to, and I don’t have one! I’ve managed to buy one from a sustainable shop that you recommended on one of your blog posts. It’s a simple black top that I can layer under a warm jumper, so I should still get some use out of it after the hen do.

I loved this video. I have watched it twice haha. I am trying to de clutter. I first started about 4 years ago but the process has been slow. I have improved a TON but that takes time. For example, I use to have a whole ikea Alex drawer full of makeup and beauty. Now I have a small bag. I just realized I really didn’t need all of this. For me I realized I really put a lot of comfort in things and had to work through that. Now I am trying to rid of sweaters that are from different states I’ve collected and it’s hard because they’re so comfy. I also am at home often and don’t care to get super dressed up but realized it might be good to have a few home clothes I feel comfortable in. How do you rid of things you love but also don’t match what you crave to do?? I end up demoting so many shirts to home clothes and I feel like I have way too many for me. Such a ramble but if anyone has advice would love it!!!

I found your videos thru the year round wardrobe, and I find I keep coming back. I think what I love so much is the vibe too in your videos and the inspiration toward a more sustainable life. I am into sewing and knitting, so hoping over the next two years to add a lot of intentionally made well planned pieces. I have a wish.... I hope you share some of your love of the local countryside, the lovely stone building, architectural details, maybe gardens? If it is possible to do in a way that protects your privacy. I think that would be important to me if I were in your shoes. Also, I know have a vision for your space, but I am just sending some wishes out there... given the tiny glimpses I have seen in some of your photos.

I’m a newbie. How do you get over the feeling of being wasteful? I’m having trouble getting rid of clothing I don’t love & haven’t worn, but is “just fine.” So I feel guilty getting rid of it. Throwing out perfectly good items makes me feel sooo wasteful & ungrateful. Did anyone else struggle with this at the beginning?
@JessicaRoseWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Ugh it’s a tough one Diana. I remind myself I’m as conscious a consumer as I can be which is the best way to solve the waste problem. I repurpose where I can and only throw things out when I can’t pass them on to someone else or recycle.

Hola! I have a question for everyone, here where i live it is really hot in summer and the good weather lasts about 5 months.I like dresses, how many you think it will be enough for this long period? Right now i have 5 and only 1 skirt and just 2 tops for that skirt.Sometimes i think there are too many dresses , sometimes the opposite.What do you think?( here its impossible to wear trousers its very hot and, i dont like shorts) Thanks all who leaves a comment. Big hugh
@JessicaRoseWilliams4 жыл бұрын
Hi Christina! 👋🏻 lucky you with that weather 😍😍 I think it’s awesome you know you love dresses and have 5 months to rotate them. I think it all depends on how you feel. If it’s impossible to wear the trousers and you don’t like shorts then forget them, let that pressure go. There’s no right or wrong amount of dresses, it all depends on how often you like to rotate them and I think the best thing to do is experiment a bit. 5 isn’t many but try a week / month with less or more and see how it goes. Try and pay attention to how you feel with that variety, what you’re wearing, what you’re not and ask why. You can reach your own answers based on what comes up for you. Know that there’s no right number, just what’s right for you. Hope that helps xx
