What a lovely place! As a self-employed (in the UK) French person who has recently moved to Paris and is considering staying there for a while, I'd love to know how you found this place. Being self-employed, it seems really really hard to provide all the documentation (proof of contract, etc etc) so I've resorted to airBnbs for now... Could you give me any pointers please? 🙏

Love a self care vlog. Ive complefely over indulged on food which isnt like me at all. I usually have good self control. Ive had a cold, been on period and lots of food around at work for Christmas. Will get back to eating better and more healthy habits next week and gym but right now i feel so fat and glutenous. Its not a feeling i like at all!

Hi Jessica. To me, if I’m showing love it’s a verb. Otherwise l, it’s a calm, shakey, slightly tingly/euphoria, tenderness that exists inside me. And sometimes it’s present or there between two people. Allowing it to be there is key. ❤

The Rodin museum was my favorite place during a trip to Paris in 2015. I even painted my last apartment the closest color I could find! Like you, I found it transcendent… the memory is strong for me and I enjoyed seeing this gem through your eyes.

My ONLY critique is to let Hope sleep in your bed! Speaking of mental health, it is good for us and our furbabies! 💕🐾

Yes, it's exciting and good for our mental health too to refresh our wardrobe from time to time. I now use my spare bedroom as a dressing room and love the fact that my clothes and footwear are not in the same room I sleep in, I like to keep the two separate. I have bought quite a few clothes, shoes and accessories in the past couple of years, there was a lot that I liked in shops and online - this is not usually the case as I'm quite picky and like you I'm petite. I bought several beautiful pieces from Massimo Dutti, jackets, and bags in wool, suede or velvet, that really suit my shape, they're modern classics that I'll wear forever. I quite like having a lot of nice things in my wardrobe, for years I had very little, I am on a budget so I buy reasonably-priced pieces in neutral colours that won't go out of fashion. I've seen the trends forecast for 2025 and I really don't like them so I'm glad I bought many of my clothes/footwear/accessories in 2023/2024, it looks like I'll just enjoy rewearing and restyling what I've already got and buy less or not at all in 2025.

Happy Volgmas/Joyeux Noel!!! The Rodin Museum is one of my favorite places in the world , (the Zadkine also) highlights of my time in France. I've always been inspired by his, (and moreover) Camille Claudel's work and accomplishments . I was surprised to learn Rodin,other than posing for a photo,never carved his own stone, but worked only in clay and plaster, with his apprentices~ much of it completed by Camille(she was not only his lover) and other sculptors in his employ, doing all or most of his work. I suppose not an unusual practice ,really. While I would not mind having so much help and support in my own studio,I cannot imagine not being directly involve in the entire process, or having intimate contact with my materials or the process of creation,which I think brings even more of the artist's passion into the work.~ Having apprentices would help me though to get all of my work done! Thank you for sharing this visit! That tree! Beauty!
