I'm up in Omaha, the weather has been on some BS. The carp aren't even biting let alone the catfish. I'm going to head out later today to try and catch some fresh bait but even the bluegill have been picky.
@SlingNBaits3 жыл бұрын
Hopefully the fishing picks back up for you soon man, were finally starting to see decent weather here in Kansas. If you do happen to catch a few bluegillies, try using em for cut bait, the catfish haven't been so picky this spring when it comes food! Thanks for watching tho dawg appreciate it!! 🤛

@@SlingNBaits Yeah I gotta lake around here that I can get some hand sized shell crackers so hopefully they'll be biting. I still have about 8 bluegill frozen from last year that's vacuum sealed in the freezer so I have a little bait left. Definitely subbed and will be keeping up with the channel.

Man how do you throw them baitcasting reels with out birds nesting ??? Shalawam Hebrew 👍👍👍
@SlingNBaits3 жыл бұрын
The key is to find that sweet spot in the braking system. I like to start by tighten my reel brake all the way down, then slowly loosen up the brake until your rig and bait slowly falls to the ground. Sounds a bit complicated but I can make some videos demonstrating how I like to setup my reel brakes for casting. Appreciate you watching bro, thanks again! 🤛

@@SlingNBaits U cant throw as far that way. Just us your other hand to cast and loosen your brake system.
@MrKatfishHimself3 жыл бұрын
@@loe7980 I'm sure he is talking about setting his brake system far before he thinks about casting it like as when he gets reel and attaches it on the rod. He isn't talking about letting line out and adjusting it when he is about to cast.

All the expensive heavy rods and nice reels to catch them dinks ? You also put a small size cut bait on them hooks and say "let's see if we catch something big" Almost all your videos you catch them dinks. I catch them too but with cheap rods and 10-15lb mono. Do you at all want to target flatheads or blues or just catch small channels? I think you need to watch some videos on KZbin on how to catch those big ones. I mean your videos are okay but there is nothing unique but you not gonna catch anything big with that size bait so why expect to catch something big lol...
