Two dust tips that are extremely helpful: use microfiber towels, and don't wet the surface you are going to dust. The ridges in the towel hold dust really well so it doesn't just slide all over the place or get thrown up into the air like regular towels or most dusters. They're usually super cheap (I got a pack of three for only a few bucks at dollar general), you can wash them so you don't have to throw them away and keep buying more, and you can apply as much pressure as you want without fear of breaking them. And remember!! Don't wet the surface you are going to dust, nor the object you are going to dust with. Any kind of moisture makes dusting harder than it needs to be. Think about it like throwing water on bread crumbs before you try to scoop them up to throw them away. Not advised, bad idea.

For the water part, I would think wetting your cloth would help the have a grip on the dust/crumbs your cleaning, whereas a dry cloth would have everything slip off of it.

Tipp for putting on duvet covers: Put the duvet on the wrong side( seams outside) put your hands in until you reach the edges. Through the duvet grab the blanket on its corner and then shake ur hands so the duvet will slip over the blanket. Works every time💖💖

The swiffer duster! A little tip: hold it on both sides and shake it to poof it up - collects the dust better and allows for reuse :)

Love this! 🧼 I’ve been dreading my spring cleaning so much this year. My seasonal depression is through the roof but I know I’ll feel better when it’s clean but also I don’t want to lol 😅 Three small suggestions! 1. Definitely make sure to wipe down the front of your cabinets especially the ones above the stove. Grease and such collects way more than you think it does even if you don’t make particularly greasy foods. 2. Don’t forget to dust that little gap between the ceiling and the AC(I think) above your bedroom door! 3. I suggest vacuuming as the very last thing after you’ve dusted. Sometimes not all the dust is trapped and it will fall down on to the surfaces below it (like the floor). I’ve been motivated to do my laundry at least and get it put away as well. Thank you for always being a lovely bit of inspiration and sunshine when I find myself in need 😊

I've been fortunate to be able to live with my grandma for 8 years, which I'm very appreciative to be able to have that opportunity. I've been able to spend so much quality time with her over the years, which I'm insanely grateful for. So YES i complelty agree with the whole aspect of appreciating the time with your family. girlyyyyy duvets are so easy. put the open end at the end of ur bed, feed one corner of the comforter up to the duvet corner, repeat for the other top corner. grab each corner and shake it & the comforter fits almost immediately!

i know this isn’t a food video i just hope you see this comment cause ik you’re always looking for new recipes lol one of my favorite recipes to make is a garlic herb chicken my mom taught me how to make (it’s also one of the only things i can make but that’s not the point lol) here’s the recipe, i hope you make it xx - chicken breast - parsley (fresh or dried i prefer dried) - garlic powder - little bit of lemon juice - olive or grapeseed oil (put on pan first, i usually use grapeseed) - cavender all purpose greek seasoning (most important ingredient!!) - pepper (and salt if you want but the cavenders is really salty so i don’t recommend) i personally like to go heavy on my seasonings but that’s just me xx literally my go to. tastes amazing on salad or plain or however else you want but i really recommend trying it out and i hope you try it :)

little tip that my mom taught me with the bed sheets; flip the sheet inside out, lay the duvet on the floor, find the corners of the sheet (like put ur hands in the corners) then grab the duvet, then shake it and the sheets will flip the right way out over the duvet! hopefully that makes sense hehe love you Ava xx

New subscriber here, I love clean and declutter motivation ! I loved that you've filmed (with sounds on) when you've dumped the trash bag in the chute. Haha I always find it so satisfying to see things get discarded and the trash taken away from home, but with a chute like that is even more satisfying. I was just hoping you'll filmed earlier while you've thrown few things away and while you've had to empty the can just to feel even more what's is leaving your appartment haha. Mostly because I struggle to discard so many things like nicer paper clutter (magazines/catalogues/fashion stores junk mail) or even worse, any old clothes that can't be donated. So seeing these kind of things being discarded and then taken to that chute would be so motivating as I tend to just put those things in a clean bag/box that I will leave forever in the garage.

Girl! The easiest way to put on a duvet cover is turning it inside out, grabbing the top corners from inside of the duvet cover, and then grabbing the top corners of the duvet and shaking it down. It makes it sooooo much easier😁

When I usually put my duvet cover on, the best thing I was taught is to turn the cover inside out and put the blanket corner to corner. It really helps and makes it so much easier to handle.

I’ve found since living alone the way I get myself to clean is my making it something that is aesthetic. I have one of those rolling carts for storing all my cleaning products so I can roll it around my apartment. Also a feather duster is key for areas that get dusty but you don’t want to wipe down all the time

Duvet hack - have the duvet cover inside out, match the top corners up with the top of the duvet, hold the top corners and start to shake it in the right way. It'll all start to fall down and then you just need to grab the bottom corners and give it a good shake - you'll be good 💁🏾‍♀️
