In our last episode we cleaned the main living areas of our home. In today's video, I'm bringing you guys along as we continue to clean the rest of the house. We will tackle the entryway, office, and sunroom. We truly have a long way left to go but I'm so happy about the progress that we are making. It takes a lot to admit your not a plant person. It breaks my heart to see plants die because of neglect, so thank you for admitting this. There's so many realistic looking faux plants now you could look into, like that gorgeous olive one in your entryway but definitely do more planting outside.

Yes, I wash my walls. I have animals and was a smoker. I'm allergic to cats and dogs, but I have to wash the curtains and walls weekly and also get a shot once a month in order to keep my fur babies. I can't stand the smell of smoke, so I would go outside to smoke. Smoking stains the walls, but I did allow my friends to smoke in the house. Funny thing, they didn't know that I was a smoker because my house never smelt like it. Thank God I'm smoke free and loving the fresh air(3 years). Continue to be blessed and a blessing to others.

Keep taking it room by room. My husband and I renovated a fixer upper in Houston. We took our time and save money as we were not going together ourself in debt. We did it. Now we just upgrade as we want now. We Love our home. It's priceless. We did it our way. ❤❤❤❤❤ Keep the motivation. It's will be worth it in the end.

Kayla, after you paint the entry walls...I think 2 of those narrow Ikea shoe units side by side on 1 wall would be great. It would help take shoes off floor. The top for little drop off things and nice mirror above. 😊

Yes washing the walls down w the mop saves yours knees and back from being awkward position! It’s a must for apartment or space when renting and someone use to smoke in the house it’ll knock the smell out instantly!

A dry swiffer duster and then a wet swiffer pad are wall cleaning game changers. I live in an old house with moulded baseboards that collect a lot of dust on the edges, and using a swiffer helps a lot!

Peace. I cant wait to see the laundry room makeover and also i feel a softer color coming for the entryway.. I wish we had a swiffer to wash walls growing up. Maybe my mom used a mop for the top of the walls. i know I will use the swiffer for the walls. I have seen that in the past and actually after I washed my walls with cleaning rags the day before.
