Our fall season starts beginning of September! But then we have a spring season in March for around 30 days! It was new this year and mainly due to our heavy population.

Great video and good shooting after winter layoff. Is this Spring season going to be permanent? Residents only? You are fortunate to have some progressive rule making that is helpful to Waterfowlers and takes advantage of your abundant resources.

Thanks Jeff! I am not 100% sure if this season will stick for future years. I wouldn’t be surprised if it continues for a year or two with how high the population is. I believe it is resident only, but don’t quote me! We are definitely fortunate up here.

We have a 30 day season here in the spring because there are so many of them and they want to reduce the population. I agree, it does seem odd hunting them in spring, not sure I would do it more than once

Nope! We just implemented a new 30 day goose season here in March to try and reduce the population!! I know it does kind of seem odd hunting them in the spring 🤷🏻‍♂️

Why do you shoot the right side bird when you are on the left? you are taking the first shot and missing! Shooting very selfish. A pair comes in you shoot the bird on your side, your buddy shoots the one on his. Pretty annoying to watch
