This week I made some progress with my outdoor plant situation and got a little bit of organizing done in my closet; things started off pretty normal but ended with an unexpected trip to the ER! Not to worry...everything's fine, but I am EXHAUSTED!

*I’m a kindergarten teacher and the stomach bug has been BAD this year!! Definitely scary but I think parents make the mistake of rushing liquids too fast - which only prolongs the vomiting. I recommend 1 tablespoon every 20 minutes ONLY after 3 hours of absolutely no vomiting. Glad she’s doing well! Also, as a teacher, thank you for keeping her home for several days lol. Someone with norovirus can be contagious for up to 2 weeks after symptoms begin* 🤢

Happy Mothers day! In regards to the shoe dungeon 41:46 , I think the pee Proprably sunk down into the carpet pad you might need to remove and replace the carpet pad and then try and clean and use the repellent spray.

The bathroom counter is a constant struggle for me too. I put everything I use daily in a basket under the sink. I pull out the basket, morning when I'm getting dressed and at night before bed. Once I use the items in it, I throw everything in the basket and put it back under the counter; It's been working so far.

OMG!!! Ziya in her lab coat & glasses being a scientist was everything in this video!!! And, she looked like she was really into it & enjoying herself!! Raven - you are such a good mom! Truly! It means so very much to your little lady how much time you spend with her doing these types of crafts & just the quality time that it is....even if it only turns out to be 20 or 30 mins it means so much to them.. I was a single mom to a little girl also - who just turned 29 in April - and there are so many things I wish I could do over as a mom. Yes, my time was limited - but not to the point that I couldn't have found more time for more things like this. Sorry for going on but it just struck a chord obviously! lol! And It's not just this video that struck the chord - I have seen you do so many things with & for your baby girl - You deserve the accolade!! ♥♥

The shoe is cute!! I'd make sure the no-marking spray instructions doesn't ask you to spray/soak the area and then clean it up, I didn't read it when I used it and it didn't work for my cat until I soaked it for like 15 min then used a wet vac with boiling water to get everything up. And I'm so glad Ziya's okay and doing better, I'm sure that was scary for you too.

Ray, have you ever thought about having a cabana installed over/around the pool? The trees will be good for straight across view, but from upstairs windows you’ll still be visible to the neighbors. With the cabana, you could install bright white curtains to match the vibe . You can leave the sides open that face your house and that face the waterfall part of the pool. That way when you want full privacy you can get it. And you could have a cabana where you leave openings at the top for sunlight to still get through. Just a thought .

Thank God she is ok. I had the same symptoms but mine was food poisoning it was awful, got a shot in the bum and meds. So I know how she felt. I pray she has a speedy recovery🙏

Hi Raven, I’m so happy that you shared this information. My son has this same issue for 7 years and we haven’t gotten a diagnosis as yet. I wish I could talk to you and ask some questions. I feel so lost and have never heard of another child having this same issue. My son started this at 1 years old and has always have an episode up until his 7th birthday. I hope Ziya continues to feel better.

Happy Mother’s Day💜 & my 9 yr old had that same stomach bug last month. For 18 hrs straight she couldn’t hold anything down even with the nausea meds. It turned out to be a 1 day thing but, I still kept her home for 2 extra days. On the 3rd day I went to work & my coworkers said I looked like a ghost 😆 I hadn’t slept in days. The way kids bounce back is such a blessing!

No, Amazon Ottoman, isn't cheap looking, believe, me. I'm particular girl! I usually order from CB2, however, I'm very, very, happy with my Black Amazon Ottoman. You just add the legs, and that's it. I even added a black round velvet ball pillow, from CB2 on my Ottoman. The bench is in my entry way. Love it!

When I was 5 years old my favorite shoes were a pair of white buckle shoes....they eventually started giving me blisters because they were too small....I was sad for a long time after my mom, understandably, threw them away. Glad you got Ziya another pair of her favorite shoes.

Oh boy nothing makes a mother's heart stop when our kids are in distress, so glad Ziya is feeling better, such a traumatic time for you all, sending you all comforting wishes for a better week to come. Side note: Regarding the cat's urine and marking, there's two options there, have a professional cleaning done with the expertise of removing that in a extremely deep cleaning way or a complete removal because cat urine is strong and can be very deep and dried in that carpet. Also the area around can have the scent trapped as in leached into the paint, so clear out the closet and a serious cleaning of the baseboards and the walls a few feet up. You may not smell it as your closet is fresh and your clothes smell clean but as you know they know what they say is theirs and what they marked. Good Luck and best to you.

So glad Ziya is doing better. We just had something similar with my 1 year old on Mother’s Day. He was throwing up constantly. We took him to the ER and after some Zofran he was doing so much better. They said they thought it was a stomach bug too.

Also they will tell you, you can only space them certain amount of feet so that it requires more to buy. When getting second opinion at other places, ask how far they can be separated. The way they get cut back from the side and tops will depend on how much they will grow up and wide and quick, so that you have more privacy and will probably need way less. That’s sounds like the same thing they told me. I feel like they tell a lot of people the same stuff. I went from needing 30 to maybe 12. That’s a big difference when it comes to pricing. Also they sneak in a replacement warranty that is explained as a perk and not a warranty, that comes with going through them and then when you get the itemized list, it’s on there with a high price.
