I think what separates you from other influencers is your authenticity and your dedication. It's not easy to get someone to watch a video for a whole hour without being bored. At times I find myself re watching the same vlog you did or content just because it was that good. From the editing (which looks realistic) to evrry little detail you put in any video you upload. The way you always breakdown what it is you're doing. Even with your podcast every topic, you dive so deeply into them. Its a gift Raven. Regardless what you decide to do next don't lose the realistic editing, it doesn't have to be cinematic, its literally the details and the motivation we can feel you put into your work. I get tired of watching other youtubers because they just don't put all of themselves into it. I can see why you're burnt out. You're been very consistent, for yearssss. I immediately saw a difference in the camera quality. The way the new one focuses on you and blurs out the background is more pronounced but it doesn't feel uncanny. Sometimes cameras can overdo the blurring around the subject but this one loos nice and subtle

When you get your trees, make sure they are covered under your homeowners policy. We had 6 Japanese Blueberry hedges and the Texas freeze took them all out. That’s when we found out we could have had them insured.

I think the reason why you are still relevant on youtube is because you've stayed consistent and kept it real through out the years, many youtubers get really famous really fast but they also disappear really fast too, why? Because they’re only a trend and then people forget about them...however, you have stayed true to your content and your personality all along, never getting lost in the trends and building a loyal fan base. Your numbers might have been stuck for years (1Million+) but your true fans are still here supporting you every week for years...like many others here, i don't comment much but i literally watch every single video of yours....i barely even use youtube anymore (in fact, the reason why i stopped consuming content from my favorite youtubers is because they got lost on the trends and stopped being genuine and stopped connecting with their subscribers). When i watch your videos i feel like you are a close friend of mine, i wind down at the end of the week and watch my confort content, which is you...and if it's a weekly vlog, so much better...since you only post once or twice a week....when you post shorter videos i feel a bit dissapointed because i wanted more content ...but alas, is your choice, just know that if your followers are still loyal is because you are doing something that works. If it ain't broken don't fix it. Maybe add a new section or post different content but don't take away from what already works. We love you Ray, thank you for all your work and keeping us entertained ... if you need a break take it. (It wouldn’t be the first time, and we'll be here waiting)....Keep up the good work, we truly appreciate it.

Really enjoyed this vlog! It was nice to see the behind the scenes of putting the brunch event together. A lot of the youtubers I currently watch that used to do specific videos like makeup tutorials, fashion hauls, lookbooks etc only really put out vlogs now and those videos incorporate little bits of everything. It depends on neighborhood. I always had wooden fences when I lived in Texas…about 6 feet tall

In almost all newer suburban high end subdivisions around the country wood fences are not allowed…either wrought iron or “green” fences only….

RAVEN, OPRAH said she stayed relevant for all these decades because she stays in the know, she knows what people want to talk about, what's trending, what are the big topics and news for her audience. So many KZbinrs don't watch other great KZbinrs to know what is going on and what people are gravitating towards. You have to watch like people that are doing new things to get inspired and then do it your way. I have watched you since your college days and I have seen your channel transition. I think you may want to do more with Ziya, people love her and seeing her grow. I love your shop with me's and decor vids, clean and organization party preps and so forth, your amazing on that. You may want to add doing more personal vids that the new people haven't seen or just an updated version of your morning and night routines with Ziya, more clothing hauls and tryons. Also, I would like to see you get into using and reviewing more beauty and body products even fragrances, we don't get that side of you much.

Definitely noticed a difference with the quality of the new camera. I really don’t think you should get rid of weekly vlogs. Maybe adding a separate content video during the week to diversify the content? But getting rid of the weekly vlogs completely, I don’t think that’s the move especially when there’s soooo many people who like this form of content the most. Your vlogs are relatable and enjoyable. 💕
