Lol. Awesome video Andy. I kinda laughed a little when you tossed the seat out and whacked your tripod or gazebo leg. I thought you were going to pull a comedic relief moment and pop your head out and show your humor with a witty “oops” or something. Lol. Anyways. Excited to follow along on your journey.

I was on the driver's side so couldn't reach that far! 😂 Thanks for following along!

Those eyelets on the bull bar are not for snatching, they are to lock the bar in the upright position when it’s not tilted forward.

Great video, vibes. And content! What year/model is your Fuso?

Nice video. I'm building out an expedition camper on a new Fuso 4x4 as well. Curious how you removed the side panels in the cab where the seat belts come into them, I haven't yet figured out how to remove those. Thanks,

Sorry I missed this question. I'm pretty sure it's just a main bolt, I'll check and get back to you.
@vantripping2 жыл бұрын
@@NomadicMidLife Thanks, I can't find the bolt or other connector that's holding it in that side panel the seat bolt retractor resides in and want to insulate in there.

I'm curious what tires you went with and size.

Mass loaded vinyl is another layer of sound insulation if the existing solution isn't enough. Don't forget about the inside of the door skins and roof.

Looks like it’s gonna be a great rig, can’t wait to see more! I would suggest though not playing music while you’re speaking, kind of distracting, at least in my opinion

hi, so the FG4x4 does or does not have a low in the transfer case? ive been looking at the FG for years, i see them for sale in the east coast. if $ was no object i would have one by now.
@NomadicMidLife2 жыл бұрын
It has a high and low gear and both the front and rear differentials are geared at 4.875 which seems to lower the RPM and improve fuel efficiency a bit with the increased super single tire size.

I think your metric numbers are off by a factor of 10, but I forgive you because American.

Lol, did I screw up? I'm going to have to go back and rewatch my own video and laugh at my mistake! 😂

I believe NomadicMidlife is using mil not millimeter. It's a metric imperial measurement. Thousandths of an inch. Often used for thin film materials in the USA.
@michaelmcclown55932 жыл бұрын
@@Mishadbull I believe you are correct that Kilmat 50 is 50 mil = 1.3mm its really thin.

Normally “mil” is an abbreviation for millimetre. Which is approximately 40 thousandths of an inch. Is there such a thing as a “mil” in imperial.
