Come with me as I go on a wee adventure in Co. Fermanagh, go canoeing, take my knitting, then join me at home for a lot of garden work and some baking sourdough bread.

Hi, Emma! Wow, terrific progress on your garden! Relative to Patreon, have you considered just setting up a Ko-Fi account? I watch several podcasters who have done this, and I personally prefer this approach. It allows me to 1) contribute when I want to, and 2) I can choose the amount I want to contribute based on my budget. I’m very reluctant to sign up for anything that requires regular monthly contributions as I’m retired and living on a fixed income. Just a suggestion…! Thanks for your wonderful videos. I enjoy watching them!

Thanks for the update. I hadn’t realised your garden is so big - wow. I wouldn’t fight the ground elder. It’s better to just have the earth covered with it than try to remove it. It’s not really doing any harm.

Dear Emma, another heartfelt thank you for this video which took us to all these beautiful corners of your life with the privilege at the end, of listening to your reflections on your business and also on Patreon. Like Robin before me, I find that the monthly commitment might be a bit difficult for some of us but I really do appreciate that at the same time, you do work hard to produce these episodes… tricky, tricky…. On a different note, your garden is changing fast, how exciting and bravo! 🌷

Yes it is tricky. In truth I'm still considering it, or even trying it to see how it goes. But we will see! Would like to get the studio finished and running properly first!

Hi Emma, I love watching what is going on in your world, so don't worry about whether you have knitting or not. We know it will come when you have the time, besides you're renovating a shed to a beautiful studio for you and us!!! Yes, to comment on someone else's thought, have you thought about a Kofi account. It seems a Patreon account would be loads more work on your plate. Happy planting!! Your gardens are beautiful. ❤

Was cool to see a bit of County Fermanagh, my ancestors came to NZ from there in the 1800s so always wondered what it was like. That garden is looking great, so jealous, mine's a clay nightmare, being hit by hard frosts at the moment which seems to be trying to kill everything! 😂

Oh please do not apologize. Love the gardening parts and it is the time of year. What is ground elder? not familiar with this US . Love the studio progress. Bread is fantastic. Your trip was fascinating and beautiful. Birdsong is great- I can identify birds by song in the states but not UK birds. ❤

This is brilliant! I love this video! Nature walk, church ruin, birds singing, knitting outdoors, lots of flowers, garden work, a bit of Rufus and the wee Robinson girl, a hot beverage and beautiful yarn while "Mull of Kintyre" is heard in the background 🎶🏵 You've pushed all the right buttons, for me anyway 😄 I hope you continue to make videos ❤

Thank you Emma for another great vlog. You work so hard but look at what you have achieved. The gardens are looking great. Ground elder is the brain of my garden too! I know there was very little knitting content but personally I enjoy the varied vlogs incorporating life, Gardens, cooking and of course crafting. I hope you get time to enjoy the garden soon, ie sitting with knitting, cuppa and just enjoying the bird song. 😊

Beautiful work, your garden goes on forever now. You definetly deserve a rest after all the hard work you and your friends have put in, it looks amazing. Really interested in your dye garden progress. On the patreon, I don't use it, 2 reasons, I don't really have the time to watch lots of videos and am not bothered about early access to videos, I watch when I have free time. Also I don't like the subscription model as a whole, I can see a £4 or £5 per account quickly build up into quite an expense. I would imagine there would be a high level of expectation, as people would expect a min number of videos each month, which doesn't always work with real lifestyles. I do love your videos and something like kofi seems a more flexible arrangement for everyone, but I don't know about the ins and outs of it.

Thank you for sharing your local countryside, reminds me of cape Breton, Nova Scotia Canada. Nice that you got a little vacation. You have so much going on so don’t make yourself crazy getting it all perfect this year. Make a priority list and give the rest a ‘lick and a promise’ . I make sourdough in a cold kitchen and found that putting 100 g of starter in for a batch helps it move along better during the cold months. In summer though, 50 g should be enough if you are leaving it overnight. I throw it in the fridge when it’s ready but I’m not! Ha, ha. Always comes out good enough and taste great. Enjoy your videos.

Hi Emma. What an interesting video. So glad you enjoyed your trip to Fermanagh. The river Erne runs along the bottom of my garden.
