Spring Levers - How to pull down the lever

It's a simple short video to show how you should pull the lever down on a commercial spring lever machine at home..
I made this because I realised that people don't know what I assumed was common knowledge and after seeing a few videos of lever shots where forum users dropped it down with a loud clunk! at the end of cocking the lever, I felt it was time to make this short vid.
I will add that I am standing way off centre to the machine to make a clear view for the camera, this makes the lever pulling far more awkward for me!

Hi Dave are you pleased with the Eve. It certainly looks the business and the ability to control volume output accurately is attractive. I can only control time on my Elizabeth's so volume can vary a bit especially if the grind needs adjusting. I assume that as you can set up the Evo to cut off at a preset pressure the output volume is pretty reliable( or that is what I understood from your initial overview video)

Yes, I love it. Pressure is quite accurate in relation to the swept volume, thus amount of water delivered, so the weight is consistent. Not I said pre charge and high pressure shot. This means I have my single shot pressure release set to give the correct weight for a lower pressure shot and the double shot pressure release set to give the correct weight for a higher pressure shot. This is more convenient to me as I never make singles....unless I'm testing.

Hi Dave, thanks for the video, enjoying your content ! small question, could you tell me if this machine you are using on this video is the latest or some sort of a prototype model of ACS Vesuvius EVO machine ? I am asking because I'm interested of buying one but at one of my local shop the ACS Vesuvius have the 2switches on the left part of the machine placed horizontally where your machine these switches are vertically. Thanks and keep them videos rolling !
