I would live in my dressing gown/ robe if I could! It’s the first thing I put on in the morning and then I put it on again in the evening and like to curl up in front of the tv or with a book and cup of tea. The NF coat is beautiful and the Celine glasses are lovely! I love when it’s time for the seasonal closet changeover. It’s fun to rediscover seasonal favorites and take the chance to tidy the closet too. I so enjoyed this vlog. It is filled with warmth on this cold and rainy Sunday.

For someone who has to wear a CGM as I’m 27 and T1D, you wearing one on a whim and calling it an “outfit ruiner” and “not appealing” is quite hurtful. Spent a long time getting okay with the fact I have to wear one with my summer dresses, bridesmaid dresses and one day my wedding dress. It might be worth thinking about the real reason those devices were invented for people who desperately need them before making throw away comments that could ruin someone’s self esteem

Tbh, while I’m not against non-diabetics wearing a CGM since there are its own benefits if you’re super into health, I feel like some people forget that these devices were meant for people with the intended conditions. It’s not like wearing an apple watch to monitor your heartrate 😅 They aren’t meant to elevate your outfit; they were created to save lives.

Love the Celine glasses, so classic. The Gucci coat is divine. The lilac puffer is gorge on you and not too young at all!!!! And the Loewe tops a winner. I have the M&S bag in black and is a complete winner. It’s great to be a style chameleon at times. The dressed down look gives you youth and vitality, you can wear it with ease x

Oh Josie I love your videos I love the embracing the jeans... but I am having to drop off during your cgm fortnight I am getting so frustrated by the lack of education around it, as a diabetic I was screaming no when the eat greens before sugar comment came out... if greens stopped sugar spikes my consultant would be all over it. Also you are looking at such a zoomed in granular range you are definitely going to see spikes. . If you were diabetic and your flow chart showed from 2.2mmol to 22mmol your line would look like the perfect straight line. Also remember for some people the outfit ruiner is not a choice. I'll be back in a couple of weeks when I hope the cgm stuff is all over.

Josie I found it so interesting that you thought that lilac light down jacket is age limited. Here is the US, those jackets are a staple for spring/fall for all ages. I wear a very similar light weight lilac Patagonia jacket and receive constant compliments on it...including one from my hubby who doesn't notice clothes often..and I'm 68. It looked great on you and it's practical..go for it!

Many years ago an optician told me that glasses and sunglasses should always cover the eyebrows, otherwise you have a double horizontal line of eyebrow and glasses. I have always followed this advice ever since.

Josie please be considerate on your comments about your cgm. Yes you have purchased it for your health & I saw it’s a lingo which is marketed & sold for health tracking and not type 1 diabetics however, it took me years to feel comfortable showing off my device & comments like ‘I wouldn’t wear one in strap season because it ruins an outfit’ are not helpful to those learning to accept this, and insulin pump devices and that they make a previously invisible chronic disease, visible. Those overpathes may not be fashionable but they are vital practically. Especially in America. These devices are expensive, it might be a one off purchase for you but we need them to survive on a day to day basis. If falls off because of a bra strap, sweat, sun cream, being in the sea etc they are expensive to replace so the overpatches help keep them on for the full amount of time to help that - also for people who are allergic to the adhesive. Again, I understand why your doing this and knowledge is power but please be considerate of your comments - this is a piece of survival for many who find it difficult not a one off fitness accessory. It personally took me 2 years to feel comfortable wearing mine and others also struggle

I’m happy to speak to you to give the perspective of people living with the chronic illness of type 1 diabetes, and has done for 20 years since I was 7 years old when my life was changed forever, and the damage that Zoe, and all the cgms being marketed to non-diabetics is doing us all who live with this very serious illness day to day

I love my dressing gowns, or robes here in the U.S! First thing I put on in the morning and in the evening before bed just relaxing. I use them year round here in Arizona, summer air conditioning is chilly! I’m also a sunglasses girl, I never leave home without a pair. 😎

Hi Josie!! The Celine sunglasses were definitely my fav, I love them on Freddy too! The Dior store in London was gorgeous, I loved literally everything you showed! I live in the northeastern USA and I don’t think many people wear dressing gowns (we call them bathrobes here) but I definitely do! Hi Josie, I wanted to let you know that ashwagandha is mainly utilised for hypothyroidism in Ayurvedic medicine and you seem to have the opposite. If you’ve got a fast metabolism, tend to be anxious/nervous and have problems gaining weight, you’re more likely on the hyperthyroid side which is why you like lemon balm as lemon balm calms down the thyroid. Selenium is another trace mineral that calms down an overactive thyroid.

Is a "dressing gown" a robe? In the United States women wear cotton robes usually after getting out of the bath or shower. I wear mine until I blow dry my hair because I would get way too warm in it. I also have a very light weight robe made out of a silky type of fabric for summer and when I am drying my hair. Hope that answers your question! I miss the doxies!!!
