Well it's an aquatic plant actually but our water source didn't have any. We did find a Whiskey Vine though.

I want to thank you for making this video. I was in a plane crash over a denny's and was able to set these around the back room...then they called the cops on me and I had to run into the woods, where I used the skills from this video to trap rip eyes, find black pepper branches, salt leaves, wild garlic, and even met the wild boar elder and answered his riddles. The steaks I made were so good I opened up a competing steak house down the road which put the denny's out of business. Unfortunately this blew my cover so I'm writing this from jail...but the steak house is still there.

This is the first time I’ve seen this. It’s 2years old. Thanks for The snare information. I am laughing my head off about the pepper, salt and the snaring of a steak. When you said to get a branch of the pepper tree, I thought you were serious. There are pepper trees but you use the berries.😂 razorback riddles lol, A whole clove of garlic with no root or top to it in the ground. 😆You have a great sense of humor.

I was hiking over a pass and the weather went bad on me, freezing rain and high winds. Felt like the wind was going to blow me off the trail. I never felt wind like that and in a short period of time I went from totally fine to freezing, wet and losing dexterity in my hands. I found some natural cover and put my tarp up in it and I got a fire going, everything was wet but I had fatwood and tinder and I got that goddamn fire going! I learned that here. Who knows what would have happened if I didn’t learn how to use fatwood. I never even heard of the stuff before. So thank you! Yo... that ribeye is equal to a grizzly mating call!

As a teenager I had a trap line every year during the winter months as furs were at their peak as far as prices in the late 60s and early 70s. I grew up poor and couldnt afford store bought traps and became very proficient at using figure 4 dead fall traps. My targets were raccoons, ringtails, foxes and the occasional bobcat. I never once caught a rib eye, but Im learning. Thanks for your video, it brought back many good memories for me.

After 11 hours at my physically taxing job today, it is really a special treat to get to kick back on the couch with my favorite survivalist teacher and a big jar of liquid pain killer, especially seeing that you are in such fine form this evening. I enjoy seeing that your trapping skills have progressed to the point that you no longer consider it a difficult thing to snare the elusive Ribeye! And a fine catch that was too! I need to look up those salt plants to see if they will grow in a zone three, they don't grow wild around here so I have to resort to the longer process of driving for an hour and fighting my way through the hordes of blank eyed zombies at Walmart hoping to find an unmolested pinch of sea salt! Anyway, good talk Sir! You are welcome to stop by anytime!
