Not a good first car, too complex engineering. Get a very simple car so you can learn to feel the car and road before going to luxury. For example Fiat Punto mk1, be golf 2-3 or 4. And many more good first cars

I recently obtained my driving license, and I bought this car a month ago for $4,000. I am very happy with it and it looks luxurious on the inside and very spacious. When I ride in my friends’ 2018 model cars, I feel that my car is better, more luxurious and wider, while their car is made of plastic. and the important thing is that its external appearance suggests luxury, and it was made to be a car for ministers and businessmen I will only replace it with an S350

@@shadishado6704 Congratulations, yes I know it’s a good car. Last Mercedes made without recyclable materials. S-Class is not better, keep the W211. Also your driving ability would be better if you learnt to drive a more mechanical car.

@@shadishado6704 Engine wise they are as reliable as the W211. Everything specific to the S-Class is more expensive, and less reliable. It’s a car that’s less common, and less engineered. With every German car, try to get one of the last made. They have many improvement modifications by factory, compared to the first

do you have some exhaust mods? im thinking to get e280 cdi 2007-2009 the facelift version but idk, maybe e320 cdi might be also pretty good and endurable

No, I just upgraded to the Sportpaket exhaust tips. Yes, the facelift have some improvements but nothing beat OM648 which can't be found in facelift unfortunately, but just seek one with low milage and you are good to go

Do you recommend 320cdi V6 om642 or 648? which one is powerful reliable and engine sounds better?

The 648 is by far the more reliable engine, it came from an era with less restrictions. The OM642 was Mercedes' response to the EURO4 standard and is obviously the weaker engine when we're talking about reliability. Power on the 642 is just a little bit better, but i dont think it makes that much of a difference. The 5G tronic transmission that's paired with the OM648 is just as bulletproof as the engine itself, the 7G tronic had some problems in its early years (2004-2007/8). My advice would be: Look for the best example that your budget allows, and i'd go for the 648 since they're the last real diesel Mercedes-Benz that's built to last. (and nothing beats that inline 6 diesel roar :P)

320cdi v6 Engine is definetly the better Engine, its stronger and More Powerful. If the Om642 engine has been cared for it is much more robust

get the 320cdi v6 facelift the older generations had brake problems (SBC) and the engine had some problems as well.

Hello, what's the fuel consumption when driving like this?

Hello, consumption in city from 10-12l. Open road 6-7.5l depends if you roll it and be gentle with throttle or you overtake often and forcing it to accelerate for no reason just to feel that 500Nm of torque 🙄🙄 Combined is around 8l. But this car you just can not drive slow like an old lady...the more power you have the more you step on the gas paddle, especially from stand still😁 But for this ride in the video(there was a lot of uphill)I think it was 9.5l/100km.
