Spring Seed Planting, Winter Sowing and Egg Cartons

This years spring seed starting in the garage was extra chilly but we pulled through after taking multiple breaks for snacks and to warm up our toes. Hannah did her winter sewing method for the second year in a row using milk jugs and I tried out using egg cartons as a replacement for jiffy or other biodegradable pots. We both planted a variety of herbs, vegetables and flowers for our gardens. Looking forward to seeing them germinate here in the next few days to weeks! Our seeds were a mix of Ed Hume, Eden Brothers, Johnny's, and 3 other brands that I collected while traveling. I'll be updating you all when these seeds start to germinate and especially when they're ready for transplanting!
