Nicely done like all your choices sewing and knitting. I already have the yarn for top Joni but not started yet.

Thank you so much! I have the yarn for the Joni top as well now. I plan on naturally dyeing it before I start knitting the top. Hopefully I'll get to it soon.

I haven't watched the entire video yet, but I must say, the seafoam top matches your eyes splendidly!

Hi, I’m knitting “Shore tee” in Bamboo Pop” midnight blue! Hope it works out!

How lovely, the Shore Tee is such a beautiful pattern! And I also really like the Bamboo Pop yarn. I knitted two cardigans for my daughters with it a couple of years ago.

I enjoyed this video, Annika. How I wish I had learned how to sew years ago! I mostly wear linen skirts with elastic waists year-round as I live in a moderate climate area of the USA but it gets quite warm in summer. For your Cumulus Sweater I think the featured silk yarn in the color Copper would be a nice choice for you.

Thank you so much for your kind words and the yarn color recommendation for my Cumulus tee! Linen clothing is simply the best when it comes to hot summer days, isn't it?! I am currently working on the An Avel tank top in the 100% linen yarn I mentioned in the video and am so curious to see how it will feel to wear it compared to a top made out of linen fabric.

Dear Annika, your Videos are so inspiring! Thank you- I am motivated to sew something for me again! You should to with a blush Tone for the silk shirt- it goes very well with your Type and your linen skirts and trousers. Marielle

Dear Marielle, Thank you so much for your lovely comment, this makes me so happy to hear! 😊 It's exactly the reason why I make the videos. And thank you for the color recommendation regarding the Cumulus tee!

Hello Annika, I am in the process of knitting my first sweater. Thank goodness for you tube tutorials as I don’t live near a yarn shop. It’s funny that you mentioned the cumulus sweater. I just saw it online and would love to make it. Do you think it would be too difficult for a beginner? I look forward to seeing your progress. Thank you for the inspiration 😊 Beth

Hi Beth, Thank you so much for your kind words! I don't think that the Cumulus Tee or Blouse would be too difficult for a beginner. It is worked in stockinette in the round and it should definitely be manageable. What I did hear a couple of people mention though was that they didn't enjoy working with the recommended 100% silk yarn (for the tee knitting pattern). Knitting with a wool yarn is a lot easier, especially for a beginner, compared to a silk or plant-based fiber (like cotton or linen) yarn because those yarns are not as bouncy as a wool yarn.

Thank you for the recommendation for the yarn. As soon as I finish my first sweater, I plan to get the supplies for my new sweater. It will help to see yours as you complete it.
