Nice to see you, Christina. Your journals are all so beautiful. I am glad you didn't have to evacuate, but being on alert to leave suddenly, not knowing if your house will survive, is extremely stressful. My brother went through it in the Nova Scotia fires, and he called us daily during this time, sometimes holding back tears. NS also had a severe flash flood in July, which flooded our normally dry, finished basement. Still cleaning up from that. Sending hugs and peace to you, and prayers for your safety. Enjoyed seeing your precious Indie in your journals too!

So glad you stayed safe! Our poor country has taken a toll and continues to do so. I had 2 friends that had to evacuate, one in Kelowna and the other in Hay River(this friend is still not allowed back-they had only been living in Har River for almost 3 weeks!

Hi Melissa, yes our country is definitely taking a toll. Lets hope we can repair it. Hubby and I were in Kelowna yesterday but on the other side of the bridge, so we didn't see any of the devastation. But it was super Smokey. That is so sad for your friend. I sure hope they are able to get back in and start recovery.

Loved the journal spreads. So glad you didn't have to evacuate. My son lives in Vancouver, my step daughter and son in Calgary and all got smoke and fires...so sad....hugs from Ontario....where we have fires also.....

Thank you so much! I'm so happy we didn't have to evacuate either. My back would have been so unhappy!! lol Hubby and I were in Calgary a few months ago visiting my youngest son. He lives in Calgary and Vancouver, work takes him back and forth. Its been 30+ years since we have been there and we loved it!! I lived most my life in Vancouver and miss it a lot. But big city life is not for us anymore. Anyways thanks so much for leaving a comment. Lets hope fire season is coming to an end. Take care, lots of love.
