I just retired and served 21 years and I was always allowed to have my fragrances packed and shipped. I always pre-pack them in a Rubbermaid container and they would box it up. Also, if you want to ship your house cleaning supplies or your fragrances you can box, seal, and label yourself. Just ensure you place in plastic bags and tape them down. I hope this helps 😊

Amy- I am a military wife of 18+ years…2 overseas duty stations with another oconus move in November. It is completely dependent on the movers if they will pack your liquids (perfume/body care). All our moves I have packed all of those things myself prior to the pack out and *ahem* strategically placed perfumes and body care liquids among other boxes that I packed carefully. See what I’m saying?!? *wink wink* I would not go crazy shopping if I’m about to leave….but don’t get rid of things you already have either. Good luck!❤❤❤

Yes, fragrance is fine. I moved to Germany with everything. Transportation comes in two weeks, and my collection is coming with. I do recommend packing make up and perfumes in their original packaging and asking them to bubble wrap individually. I thought you were doing that because you didn’t know if your new home will have enough room

I actually just PCS'd from one overseas location to another and they allowed me to ship it. I would however say, you may want to wrap them in some bubble wrap first and then allow them to pack it. they have a tendency to break fragile stuff alot

Maybe you could ship your perfumes to US? Also I think liquids are OK in checked luggage. You could take a box of them and wrap each one in a bubble wraps so they are safe. Best of luck in your move.

Idk if military movers are different but yes you can move perfumes...just not alcohol drinks and cleaning supplies. I thought you didn't wanna take them bc of space or limit of weight. Anyway call the moving company to double check. Pack in bazillion bubble wraps and voila 🎉

Hi Amy I’m a navy wife and I’ve always been able to take my fragrances with me! I always prepackaged those my myself just to ensure my fragrances stayed the way I packed them. I think they’re speaking of bleach and things of that nature!

I moved from Japan to the United Kingdom and I shipped all of my bath and body works shower gels, lotions and fine fragrance mists using APO to APO mail. I packaged all of it up with bubble wrap and had no issues. I believe if I were to have my items within my household shipment I would have been fine because I pre packed a lot of my items beforehand in large boxes and tough cases and the movers didn’t even ask what was inside. I think it just depends on what company does your shipment and how strict they are going to be. Hope this helps! ❤

I'm definitely gonna track down Dolce Lily or at least a sample. I got a few BBWorks mists in and this past week i paired Fiji Sunshine with 7 Virtues Coconut Sun, then once i smelled Gingham Vibrant, I was like this is basically Versace Dylan Purple but better!! Lastly, I paired Saltwater Breeze with MAC Turquatic. But I'm also gonna try it with Dylan Blue. All winners !!

Hey so I’m in the military and honestly no you’re not allowed to take your liquids, coming from Korea, the house hold good worker was very kind about it and allowed me to put some in the boxes but what he didn’t know is, I had so many more so I put them in my rucks and army duffle and wrapped them well and kept them in their boxes and obviously they’re not going to be appalled by the weight of the equipment cause usually army gear is pretty heavy anyways but hopefully this helps cause I struggled with the thought of not having my perfumes as well and I received everything completely in tact so I would just hide them in already packed boxes or bags cause they don’t open your equipment to see what’s in it or at least they shouldn’t

I layered my La Rive Queen of Life perfume (La Vie Est Belle dupe) with The Body Shop's Coconut body mist today. They layered beautifully! I have the original in my collection as well, but La Rive's version is lighter and more summer-appropriate, so there's an idea for all La Vie Est Belle/coconut lovers. 🥰🥥

I love Pretty as a Peach. I use the shower gel and the body mist. I like to layer it with Gucci Guilty EDT or the 2021 Miss Dior EDP--both have peach that I like to bring out.

I just tested Burberry Her EDT recently. Is it just me or does it smell super similar to Delina? I wanted to love Delina but the rhubarb was too sour for me and I feel like Burberry Her has the good qualities of Delina without that sour note.

Try Burberry Her Blossom which is also an edt. People say it doesn't smell at all like Burberry Her, but I still get the vibe but it's a fresh, shampoo-y floral for spring/summer. It actually reminds me of Blooming Bouquet but better (less citrusy).

Fellow milspouse… it is up to your packers on what they will take. I never trust them to pack my perfumes. I normally pack all of that myself (we always do a partial dity). For the most part, they’ll pack cans but not cleaning products, chemicals, etc. From experience, lots of things get broken in transit and perfumes just aren’t worth it. Good luck lady!
