I find myself wondering each year how I plan to prep and change some of my gardening so I have enough time devoted to it..
Perennials are now my main vocal point but will still incorporate annual flowers such as zinnias, salvia, celosia , marigolds , etc for added color and long bloom time..

Your cat's got a good laugh out of me LOL them chasing each other up the tree. I bet they are good to keep pests away from your veggie garden? They seem hyper,, do they ever tear things up? Ha

Happy gardening!... You know, our asparagus has never taken off. It's been three years and I started with 2 year old crowns, but they mustn't be happy where I put them. Never even got to harvest any, never bigger than a skinny pencil. I wonder if it's cutworms. I'm tempted to dig them all up.

HI Anna, could it be Lack of Water. These plants are moderately drought tolerant and will survive without a lot of water, but dry conditions will cause them to grow more slowly and produce thinner, weaker stalks. During the first couple of growing seasons, plants should receive one to two inches of water per week.

@@dianemummvideos thank you for that advise, Diane. Perhaps that is the problem. Will give more water a try!
