Great fishing with you that day at Gregory Rob! Glad we all switched locations. Thanks for sharing the trouts Rob. I did great at Lake Arrowhead on my friends boat dock in North Bay last Saturday using Slip bobber with garlic rainbow powerbait. I'm heading up to Lake Gregory again this Thursday. @@SeaSpankerOutdoors Appreciate it, having a youtube channel myself I know how easy it is to create video content but not have the time for editing and upload sometimes for a long time off but that's a local spot I actually haven't tried yet if you could believe it. I've heard of Gregory many times, just never went to that location and I've been nearly everywhere. I'll have to give it a try, that wall area looked like it was a pretty nice spot.

I believe it was a week or so after the last stock. Those Lassen trout dont seem to bite well until a couple days after the stock. The weather is always a tough one as during spring we have a few warm days and then a few cold and this makes the water temps settle in the high 60’s which seems to make them a bit more aggressive for some reason. This is why I tend to fish spoons alot more in the spring if all that makes sense

Just stick with it. We are moving into the warmer summer months making trout fishing alot more challenging around here. As soon as it starts cooling down again the fishing will get alot better. I think they do allow inflatable boats in the summertime as they allow swimming you just have to pay the $10 launch fee

Yes they do, especially well during spring time as the water warms. They seem to get a bit more aggressive for a time as the water warms a bit. The video coming out next Monday has a few caught on spoons at SARL 🤘

Yes, you can kayak and float tube there. There is an extra launch fee of $10 I believe

Both are great lakes to fish but as we move into the hottest time of the summer the trout fishing is going to be alot tougher until things cool down. At Gregory your probably going to need a boat or float tube to get out to where the fish are holding. At GVL its a much smaller lake so the fish may be easier to find but less likely to bite as the water may be warmer than Gregory. Usually mid to late September things start cooling down and the fishing picks up.
