There is one lure that not many people talk about. It's also one of my favorites The Heddon Torpedo. Good colors, there are also different sizes. To me it's like a suddle Buzzbait/Whopper Plopper/ and Spook all in 1 package. It's also a good bait for the waters that are just getting warm enough to though any top water bait. Another good tip for it is try it while night fishing in the late spring to early fall.

I mainly fish rivers and lakes in south east Michigan. Every species loves it even caught giant crappie and perch on the 130. The fire orange color I think (although I don't think color is a hugely factor with reaction strikes especially from esox. But man what a fun bait! Great video explains a lot of top water tech! That shower blows is the best topwater bait I've ever thrown in my life. I can catch fish on it when they won't look at any other top water baits. Year around. I use all sizes and 3 colors. Its accounted for some big large mouth, and my biggest small mouth to date. And a kid can walk it. You can walk it with the reel if you want to. There deadly baits.
