@BassNTrout. Feather your reel right after you cast so you don't get tangles. What I mean is put an index finger near the reel immediately after casting this prevent tangles and wind knots. Also, you can control speed and distance of lure. Just before lure land, gently raise rod tip an inch or 2 before lure hits water. Just an opponion side arm cast it creates less splash in the water. No need to move rod tip alot. Pull rod tip no more than 2 inches towards then push rod away from you immediately after pulling rod tip 2 inches towards you. Side arm keeps a lot less likelihood of tangles in trees overhead and less splash that'll spook the fish.

Awesome video man! It has been a weird few weeks fishing with all these storms. Hey, I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but you ought to try bleeding out the fish before you cook them. I mean, you may not notice a difference, who knows, but I think fish tastes much better when bled. Maybe an idea for a video: catch two fish from the same body of water and try a side-by-side taste test. Bleed one, and see if you notice a difference 👍

The brown on shore looked like a bird had it and sometimes little rainbow swipe at the lure and get side hooked. It's all part of the fishing experience. The little guy will likely live.
