Did someone say Spring? Oh yes please! It’s felt like the longest Winter ever so I am very excited to finally start seeing all the new collections launch in store:) And to launch my first Spring style video of 2023! As the title would suggest, I’ve got some new brands to share, a few classic favourites and on the whole a rail of gorgeous pieces I’ve been really looking forward to sharing with you all. It just makes life easier doesn't it, not having to worry if you underwear is showing. And I really can't bear when a brand lines in polyester so nice to see they've thought about a nicer fabric too instead of scrimping x

Send the second long denim skirt back and hem the first to suit you. The first flatters your shape while the other almost “disconnects” your top and bottom halves. I say no to the bow blouse too. Everything else was fabulous! I’m shopping…🎉

I would style the mini dress as a tunic over jeans and unbuttoned at the bottom. I do not wear shorter or mini dresses as dresses but as long shirts 😊 I think it would edge up the feminine vibe a bit.

The Dishh items are so tempting, 100% linen and fully lined with equally cool and breathable rayon, perfect! I’m always looking for linen items, but they have non-breathable polyester linings, what’s the point of that? It makes them completely unwearable on warm or hot days. I also love a skirt with a full-length lining, the ones that are only lined partway look super-cheap (because they are). A skirt, trouser or dress lining should go to about one inch above the garment hem. Elasticated back waist, too, great item.

Beautiful pieces, beautifully styled. As far as the denim skirts - hate the dark hem, but a tailor could remove that and it would be nice. The other...could a tailor redo the waistband to get rid of the fringe/distressing? If so, I actually prefer that style, Not sure of the pricing and if it would be worthwhile. Good luck! Honestly, I love both those denim skirts! I had a pair of jeans with a similar hem (the darker portion of denim) and that's why I loved them. They were different, gave a little twist, and that's why I love that denim skirt! The second one is so unique too, with the distressed waistband. All such lovely outfits!

Hello Jess, Ive been watching your channel for a little while. I love your style and choices in clothing. The blouse with the tie is beautiful, I think it needs to be paired with a darker bottom. I love the slit denim skirt on you with the dark edge. I actually think the tie blouse might be interesting with it.. Instead of tying it in a bow, maybe a sailor knot & let it hang long, like a mans tie. something about having the color on the bottom with the slit , takes away from the "tube effect" of the skirt. I agree with you about the waistless fringed skirt , in my opinion , it doesn't give the elegance/sophistication vibe of your style. you have beautiful style and are such inspiration for all! Jess, I love your style and your presentation. Thank you for sharing your thoughtful work. Since you asked for our opinion, I don't think the blouse works for you. I say this primarily because you are so very uncertain about it yourself; so I think when you wear it, you will have lingering doubts. I'd say the same thing about the denim skirt with the frayed waistband. I love the denim skirt with the dark blue stripe on you, but more importantly, you really seemed to love the skirt without it, so if you can alter it, you will likely wear it and enjoy it. I am currently looking for a pair of black and a pair of white linen trousers, but it is too early here in the U.S. The striped bow blouse is nice, but I think the bow is overpowering. There are great items here. I like the bow blouse, worn both tied lower and at the neck, but I know what you mean, the neck bow can feel more formal. It’s a hot trend, though, maybe try it with more casual bottoms?

Hi Jess! Love how you styled all the outfits. I especially love the Reiss jacket and trousers. The only way I liked the blouse with the bow was when you tied it in a bow lower down on your chest. Otherwise it looked a bit too big. I liked the darker denim skirt a lot, but agree with you that they should have left out the darker strip at the bottom. That being said, it looked great on you for a casual Spring/Summer vibe, and I personally would keep that one. Have a great week!

Wow, great selection, Jess! I absolutely love the way you styled the white and black dress. Would wear it exactly the same ways myself. The Australian linen pieces are gorgeous, and I will definitely be checking them out. I have the same problem with bow blouses! I never feel quite comfortable in them, no matter how I tie them. I’ve given them up now, even though I still feel drawn to them in the shops, lol! It comes down to how comfortable you feel in it, I suppose. I would keep the first denim skirt and get rid of the dark blue on the hem. Gorgeous detail at the waist and hips on that, and very flattering on you. As you say, I think you have enough length to do it. The blue cropped jacket is right up my street - in fact, I’ve already been checking it out online! Finally, I love that last look. That Kooples jacket is stunning, and I love it the way you’ve styled it. The shoes you’re wearing are gorgeous as well. All in all, a great video and I really enjoyed it. For the denim skirts, I agree, that ratty waistline would be hard for me to get adjusted to... As a visual artist, I actually like the thin dark blue stain on the other denim skirt hem, it's just enough of a visual weight that sort of grounds and completes the appearance of it within the context of an outfit. And I LOVE those tan and black mini chunk strappy heels you're wearing in one of the outfits you're showcasing the beige bodysuit from Revolve in...Can you share where those sandals are from? Thank you for this great video - I especially love all the color combinations you chose with each piece and how you mix and match them. This has given me so much inspiration on how to style my existing pieces too. I also love, that a lot of your looks are suitable for office styling - so modern and chic. Personally, I did not like the shirt with the bow at all and I do not like the jeans skirts either. That trend is one I will stay far away from, I do not like that look at all. Love these pieces! I've had the same dilemma with my Ted Baker white bow blouse in a similar style. The blouse is gorgeous, and I like mine better undone than tied in a neck bow. That said, I've had mine a year and yet to wear it out of the house! I like classic, casual chic styles, and have very much the same taste in clothes. My suggestion -- if in doubt, don't keep something. Now, to convince myself of that same advice. I shop Sezanne when in Paris for a month this spring.

Very lovely selection! However, I would send the &Other Stories shirt back. Imo it's too wide and I am no fan of bows and the like. As for the denim skirt, I love the darker one and I don't think that the hem needs to be cut off. However, you could easily cut it. I'd say, keep it 😘

The bow top is amazing, if you ever wear the bow done up just style it very casual and boyish, maybe loafers or sneakers and high waisted jeans, the denim skirt however I would return and shop for the perfect one,

Great pieces, especially the white denim and linen trousers. I love the striped blue shirt but am not too keen on the bow. I think it looks too bulky and stuffy for a polished ans understated look, in my humble opinion.

Hi Jess, hope you're doing well. Spring, my fave season, you feel like your body is being released from its shackles! Lydia Tomlinson just posted a Mango video with a long plain denim skirt with a slit in the front. Not so keen on the bow blouse. The linens were lovely but as I send most things back I order I don't think it'd be wise for me to buy from Aus 😌. How do you find these brands, what is your search criteria? Hello my friend Jess 😀, I am so looking forward to spring. Great selection of items. I love the tweed jacket, the wrap top, the vest (waist coat), matching pants & skirt. I have a white lined linen skirt much like the one you modeled. I love the color of the bow blouse, but it looked a bit too big for you. What if you sized it down one size? I wish clothing came in 1/2 sizes like shoes. I agree with you regarding the last two denim skirts. I too would have the dark blue hem removed & pass on the light denim. There's just too much fabric going on isn't there! As I was linking everything for the description I noticed Mango have finally released a very plain and simple long denim skirt so i think that one is just what I've been looking for:) I don't know why brands feel the need to overcomplicate classic items like that, less is often more and definitley when it comes to denim skirts!
