Plant nerd here! The weed looks a bit like creeping bellflower, which can be a nasty invasive. Dig as much of the rhizome (root-like structure) up as you can (and do that as often as possible). Your rue might need to be planted in a bigger pot or in the ground to overwinter! Some plants need better soil insulation for their roots to keep coming back. You can also try mounding dead leaves over it in the fall, and covering the mound with another pot, for extra insulation.

To protect you plants from rabbits and squirrels try putting put tulle around them! I use white tulle. The critters don’t like getting their claws stuck so they’ll just stop messing

I’m sorry if these are two specific, please don’t feel bad if you can’t answer them: - speaking of spells going wrong, how would you recommend cleansing and rectifying a spell candle burning an heirloom (old $2 dollar bills from a passed on loved one) and then the whole thing sitting stagnant for a bit - do you have any resources to recommend on how to read wax? I’ve been doing a spell with a pillar candle but i’ve been peeling the wax away and pouring out excess as I go, now I’m worried I may have done something wrong

Only spiritual teacher I follow is Neville Goddard especially the reddit community. I do find your witch routines fascinating as an otherwise ordinary person, but personally I think its a bit relieving to know that manifesting can be done just with imagination, repetition, and a meditative state. Lets goooo

Very cool! I'm not familiar with Neville Goddard, but I definitely approach my practice and "manifestation" {in quotes because I don't really call it that a lot} with a bit more focus through folk magic, Italian customs & traditions, & a background in eclectic / folk witchcraft! It really is kinda about what works for you, and I'm glad you find it interesting nonetheless.
