Perhaps Mapimpi is past his best so Moodie should get an opportunity.Malcolm Marx is an impact player, Jaden Hendrickse should be the fourth rated scrumhalf. In retrospect Libbok should have started with Pollard closing out the game and winning with his kicking the penalty. On the positive side, Ox was magnificent, Eben was fantastic and physical and the props were all excellent.

Where did things go wrong. 1. Moerat where have you ever seen an enforcer top fit lock and captain of the springbok walk on the pitch. He is weak please send him back to the stormers and leave him there. He did not lead of once spoke to the ref like the pumas captain. He did not even fight for CLA. Reinach man his kicking was up to shit. Only thing he could do was score a trie. He is pass sell by date. Our line outs was shit until eben came on and he and Marx just click. Why was BJD standing next to the scrum in halfback position instead being part of the scrum. The golden boy and blue eyed boy really cost us deeply. Manie never should have taken the last kick to the post even though a 6yr old would have made the kick. Golden boy moerat swallowed his tongue Am spoke to the ref. There was just no communication between the captain and ref nothing. The ref really was not bad so can't complain about except the 2 dangerous tackles 1 was on cla can't remember the other player. Moerat never ask about it i am disappointed really. I know we can't always win but judging by game we really have a problem if the pumas beat us and the blue eyed boy could not slot a 3 pointer instead of going for the corner

Moerat is not for this level , chewing gum in a pre press in front of the World, we are not a club team , his obviously not champion pedigree - his energy and presence is missing , the experiment should be over now !!! Everytime he has captained the team we were losing in those minutes he played , in fact when he went off we starting gaining momentum and unfortunately he came back on. - Theres always a player thats selected that can be the Achilles of the team , just hope this is corrected and not persisted on.

Let the young guns gain experience through these types of matches - our main aim for them is to be sleek, tough and battle ready for the 2027 World Cup. Let's all of us be realistic: the Springbokke are not going to win all matches - from our losses we learn....winning everything will make our Springbokke too complacent....look what is happening to AB's and everyone can speak about the AB's golden years - not wanting to accept that Rugby is progress and competitive sport.

If you’ve seen CTS1,2 you would have seen his mindset at the beginning of a cycle straight after the rwc. He puts guys with potential under pressure in big tests as soon as he can because he thinks 4 years ahead. This test was a low risk bet for him to do that. Like I said, Moerat is not good enough yet, hopefully he will get there. But if he is nit he must go! Libbok has great skills outside of kicking for points but that’s not enough. He has proven over and over he has no big match temperament. So we agree on these points. But chances that Rassie is more intelligent than you and me combined in terms of rugby is 99% imo😆

Manie lacks BMT. That unfortunately cannot be taught. Salmaan is not an enforcer. He struggles to just get the basics right. Our defence has gone backwards. We need to look at the system we employ. We can put a couple of world class packs together when all the locks are fit. Our hooker development is lacking though and will be exposed if we have an injury. Bongi and Marx need a couple of good deputies. Our backline evolution is trailing our forward evolution, especially in the centres. We need to groom more centres (Henco, Hooker and Canan?) and a 3rd flyhalf to go with Sasha and Pollard, Jordan? We need to add a dynamic loose forward, Cameron?

Hey guys let face it… the Bok defence was abysmal … key missed tackles which really showed a lack of commitment by senior players among forward and backs. Moerat showed absolutely no leadership … and is not an international standard lock. Am is over his best and has lost his feel on defense … Let’s not even mention NO BMT MANIE…clutch kicks are what he is on the field for and he failed again. For the Boks to leak 4 tries in 35 mins really showed the lack of defensive unity.

Tell me about it. So irritating to watch players more interested in interceptions or ripping the ball out instead of tackling. At times the ARG runner would gain 10 or 15 metres after initial contact before being brought to ground. You lose territory against Argentina you risk losing the game. So we did. Pin them back in their half, milk the points and profit from their mistakes when they take those big risks.

An aging returning from injury Am over Esterhuizen at 12 speaks volumes for other selections. Be careful, the provincial teams can very quickly become a bottle neck for the National side and long term development. Just look at the persistence of Sharks locks over the last few years before Eban. No logical explanation.
