Without doubt; # 9 : Jaden Hendrikse should NOT be considered for Bok selection ( He is bad enough playing exactly the same for the Sharks ); with at least 3 other players WAY more effective and competent in this important position ( And this is apart from injured Faf ! ). As to why Grant Williams had to wait so late into the game to * Rescue * the Bokke was indeed surprising ... WHAT a difference when he eventually substituted JH 🤙💫💥🏉🇿🇦

Kwagga can only pefrom when the opposition is tired, that's why we bring him on from the bench. Keeping out Cameron Hanekom for him is diabolical.

Jaden is a joke. Even for the Sharks he is not the best. Grant is currently the nr. 1 scrum halve: He is quick, tackle like a Faf, is fast and cleans well. Overall, he is the best in everything.

@@Mr-Litch I agree it is rude to call any Springbok a joke, or any human being for that matter. Makes it worse coming from a person failing to spell the nr 9 position correctly. Scrum halve fly halve, what's that? But Hendrikse was very disappointing in such an integral position to our play making. To answer the question: We have SO many great scrumhalf's, I just do not think Jaden is one of them.

Jaden probably just had an off night and the loose forwards (Marco, Elrigh and Kwagga) didn't assist him at all. Scotland were all over the breakdown

Not sure how you can give Kwagga more points than Louw? I've been concerned about our lineouts and kickoffs this whole year, and there has been no improvement this weekend.

Only reason I gave Kwagga more was that I felt Kwagga got himself into more battles during the game and that workmate to me deserved a higher point. We are too slow going into a line out and leave too much time for the opposition to analyse what's coming. That's my opinion, anyway I will see if I can put in in my review video soon.

I agree,Jaden is far too casual and that in my opinion is not a Springbok norm. Canan was poor but he is better and can improve. But hats off to the Boks still winning despite a “bad” day at the office for some of them

My concern about Canaan is that he has not yet liveg up to his potential. I think he has all the tools. Lets hope he does in the future. Id like to see Jaden get rested for England and play against Wales, can't risk both him and Manie against Eng.

The most objective ratings of the Boks on this match that I have seen, I agree with 90% of them and even argue with myself over the other 10%. Totally agree with your ratings on the front rows. And Hendrikse was kak - Reinach or Williams to start against the Poms.

Thanks for the work you put into this video. You made a lot of things clear that my friends and I aka off-field refs that we are, could not figure out. Most frustrating factor was how we allowed Scotland to slow the game down. It wasn't just handling errors, it was predominantly the loosies but worse of all like your rankings indicated: our nr 9s, which might be why you gave nobody a 9. If I may make a suggestion if you don't mind; there are many silent periods in your video. I suggest you comment a little more during those quiet moments, just to keep things flowing. For example, quickly add that it is exciting to see our inside center getting an 8 and what an exciting prospect this could mean for Boks' future. I mean, we are where we've wanted to be for so long. Now, it would be great to stay here for as long as possible and hopefully surpass NZ's stats of being the most successful team in history. Wouldn't that be something, and I think we can do it. I would focus on giving Reinach more opportunity and focus on the Scrumhalf position in general even more seriously and thus take Hendrikse's 3 to the top of discussions. I feel sorry for him, but let's see what Rassie will do.

Just my two cents but there is no way you can play that loose trio to start the match, Kwagga is a impact player in the last 20 to 30 minutes. Eskom was out of touch and Elrigh tried but didn't have enough ball to work with. Hendrikse and just haven't been the same after the injury.

Think you were bit to generous with Ebens rating If it’s possible I would look in to setting a standard to measure them against. Take all there performances from this year and compile it to get some averages. If he performed above his average he should get a higher ranking, if performed under the average he should get a loner rating. Also only use the top 15 nations, to lessen the outliers, were the country isn’t tier 1 and boks just smash them 😅

Typical of the modern world is that you can be on the field, attempt or do nothing and score average therefore retaining your position. Seems as long as you make no mistakes the world loves you. Give me 15 Kwagga's who does all the HARD work and plays their hearts out and you have a unbeatable team. Dont judge a player on one poor performance, the TEAM should be judged. People are quick to forget the good points and focus on the bad ones. Actually the current squad gets overatted as the best ever, not because they are so good, but because the current opposition is just simply bad.

@roryblake3232 For this specific game you are correct. Overall the performance of the TEAM was poor HOWEVER we surely have some talented players which can perform better. I still stick with my assesment that a team with Danie Gerbers and Naas Botha's was the best we had so far. This team is above average agreed.
