Thanks for that great Video, I really leaned something today, especially what the inside of a scope looks like. Thanks this information, it will certainly come in handy one day.

Can you turn the tube if the cross hairs are not aligned with the adjusting nobs? When I sight through the scope the cross hairs are not perpendicular and verticle. This is a very informative video.
@NOBOX77 жыл бұрын
you can open it and turn the tube

Which discovery scopes very good for PCP sir?🤔
@NOBOX74 жыл бұрын
PCP is very easy on the scope , you could use any good scope you like with no damage

Springers are more harsh in scopes than 3006 or 7mm mag due to the whiplash effect the spring produces. I wrecked many scopes and sights on my springers. There are some scopes that are designed to handle that whiplash action. What I found to work best at eliminating the problem was by switching to PCP air rifles. I haven't wrecked a single optic since I got my FX REVOLUTION.. lol the new issue I face is getting my scuba tanks topped off at 4,500psi.. lol

did the goop help? I've got three scopes that won't hold. Two on gamo's. Need a fix!!!
@NOBOX79 жыл бұрын
+James Marcum yes james if you dial in your scope and then glue the recticle in place it will not move again , now this will lock the scope forever but hey its better then a scope that doesnt work at all. you need to glue it in 2 or 3 steps or it wont dry well . i highly recomend doing this . some time i will do an update video just havnt had any time

can you wrap tape around the tube
@NOBOX77 жыл бұрын
its possible , any thing that will wedge it in place should work , but i dont recommend tape , maybe some black tape wound really tight might do it . let us know if it works or even if it doesn't

I hope the scope maker saw your VDO. What brand was it?

I am not sure that permanently gluing the scope into a fixed zero is a good idea! If you ever un-mount the scope you wont be able to adjust it again. You could use mounts with a damper built in.

***** the rifling in the barrel is very faint , you can hardly see it and i think thats part of the problem with this gun , secondly its junk the seals are junk the ramb is junk the trigger mech is flimsy and its made in china , dont buy any thing from china its a prop junk , its made to look like a product you want but performs horrible and breaks down when you need it most

That's why I have the rws bullseye mounts on both my guns . Bye this once and you never bye a scope again and the scope doesn't have to be airgun rated I have it on one of the hardest kicking airguns made the Hatsan 125 sniper springer the scope I have on it is a Sightmark triple duty 10-40x56 monster scope 15 inches long with out the shade . This gun busted every airgun rated scope I put on it . But with the rws bullseye mount that has the built in recoil springs I have had no trouble at all . Trust me just get one .
@lucaspoupard24518 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much for the info I will have to save up for one of these, because it is way too hard to find a decent priced air rifle rated scope that can withstand the recoil of my Gamo Big Cat Whisper 1300. Thanks again.
@justliketolook8 жыл бұрын
The gun you have has now where near the reverse recoil of the Hatsan so it will differently work on your gun . You can order them straight from Umarex www.umarexusa.com/

nice explanation, why don't you put a bus in it so that you fix the location of the barrel and it can't walk toward the eyepiece.

yes on my next gun i intend to do this

Shit, I thought a scope was full of prizms and rods and levers and pivots and it's a fuckin shitty tube and a sliver of metal. Wtf? No wonder they suck...
@NOBOX77 жыл бұрын
LOL right and the shitty tube moves every time you shoot the gun , so from now on im sitting the gun and gluing the dam gutts in place

I once repaired an air rifle scope with human hair because the cross hair wires had become disconnected from the inner cylinder.
