I had no issue with my 4.25 Prodigy. Going on 5000 rounds now. Don't know why everyone is having issues!

They are hit or miss, how ever don't go crazy messing with it, just send it back to springfield they will take care of you and IT'S FREE . If magazines become a constant issue get staccato magazines. Thanks for sharing 👍.

Seems to be a hit or miss with these pew pews. I have the 4.25 500 rounds in no problems. Buddy of mine has both the 5 and 4.25 at least 1000 in the 5" and probably 500 rounds in the 4.25" no problems. I have gone through and cleaned and deburd. But great pew pew.

Good to hear! Yea like I mention it's an awesome shooter and I like almost everything about it. That issue seems to be strictly mag related. Not a strike to the firearm itself. I'll do an update after I get more rounds through it! Thanks for watching!👍👍

Yes it's a good firearm. I broke down the magazines and lightly cleaned/oiled the follower and inner mag. I then tuned the magazines and they fed flawless. The sear spring was tuned a bit also now I'm running a 3 and a half pound trigger.
