We are thinking about expanding a bit with additional greens for our own consumption and gifts to friends and neighbors. Our question is regarding spacing. Hi Wayne the Chard and Spinach require almost identical conditions; have tried hydroponic and the germination rate in rockwool poor , can get the seedling to about an inch or so then they wilt. Think it requires outdoor conditions to be grown successfully.

Hello, Love your videos and I’m in process of building a much smaller version. My questions are about the nutrients- with Tomatoes I understand you use Masterblend - 4-18-38. Would you mind telling me what you use for celery, arugula, and other greens. I find the “recipe” is the key for me as I struggle with figuring how much or what... Great design and videos give an overall understanding so for that thanks!

Hi, thank You! we purchase all of our greenhouses through a company called L&R SHELTERS, out of Southern Ontario, Canada. They are fantastic people to deal with, and are super helpful. This greenhouse is 120' x 30'. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! 😄 Patti

+Rod Whitney We purchase the trays from American Hydroponics. There really isn't a specific variety of kale that sells better than the other for us, we bag it in 1/2 lb. Bags with a mix of all varieties and customers love it!
