Springing A Sofa, Kindel Furniture Company

In the spring of 2011 I made a video showing the talent of a Kindel sofa springer. Being a Marketing Assistant for Kindel Furniture Company has shown me the various expertises put into the many different pieces of furniture Kindel makes.

Mid mid-century sofa from 1965 upholstered beautifully. Springs must be redone,bu I want to keep upholstery intact. Can bottom just be Removed an springs be tightened from there. It looks plausible to me,but need help visualizing the technique for the repair. Does a step by step video exist. Many thanks. I live in a rural area and no skilled upholsterer is around. Your video is incredibly well done!
