Si en España le dices a alguien "que bien te queda ese saco", lo más probable es que seas rechazado directamente. Un saco no es en español una prenda de ropa, sino una bolsa de tela de gran tamaño y resistencia que se usa para transportar todo tipo de cosas. Desde maíz hasta herramientas. Y dicho en un ambiente de glamour o flirteo, da a entender que la persona que te aborda diciendo eso se está riendo de ti o de tu ropa,... o es de muy baja cultura. Conclusión: no digas NUNCA "qué bien te queda ese saco"

My Spanish is not only horrible but its so broken...I've literally tried schools, apps and other course and not once have I been able to get it down. It sucks enough that I come from a family where 4 languages are the norm with my father speaking 5 and me 1.2. What I do enjoy and love about Latin culture in general is that the women are patient enough to let me try and speak. I love that my efforts have a tendency to reap in rewards whereas the same thing here in the US will likely turn them off especially the more westernize one. Am I giving up? Heck no...I will continue this path for as long as I can because something about Latinas in general gets me going to want to learn!
