What are the PVC connectors called? Where can I buy them?

You can by them at Homedepo and the connecters it depends which one you will be using. You can asked them were they have there sprinkler Connectors and they have many types.

those are called unions and I wouldn't use them. They leak and you will end up having to replace them. Better to just use straight PVC with connectors that have been cemented with PVC cement.

If the valve body wasn't compromised, then it would have been ok to just replace the top portion of the valve instead of cutting pipe and replacing the whole unit.

Why don't you use primer before applying glue and also teflon tape on the threaded fittings?

At the time I ran out of primer. I did used Teflon. Thank you.

@@pspancho72 i have a broken wire in the solenoid wire color is White if i dig out the solenoid does the wiring have power/electriciti i am afraid of getting shocked by it its in my backyard station 4 , 5 , 6 not working hunter por C sprinkler system THANK YOU

At the time Homedepo did not have any...Normally I used primer. Thank you
