Back in the day, late 70's and 80's we had brakes all 4 wheels, IRA Sprints. Want to know why with a 2 brake system is the brake on the left front instead of the right since the left tire hardly ever seems to have full contact on the track. Great videos. Enjoy the show.

I know this one tested Heather’s patience 😆 but all of these have been great. For someone like me who’s done this stuff a good chunk of their life, it’s still an awesome video to see how or why someone else does it

Love your vids and love your videographer even more! As a larger man like yourself we have always found ourselves in the predicament that a 120lb driver is always going to have an advantage over a 220lb driver and there's nothing you can do about it other than make weight rules that even it out. I personally think racing a 1600lb car is just a exciting as a 1300lb car. The fans don't know any different. But a 1600lb car is substantially less expensive for your average garage racer.

“Glowing your Rotor” sounds like a new T Shirt design

When I was running 410's at Clinton County brakes were probably the most important thing. Close competition and the ability to twitch the car instantly to put your car exactly where you want it was crucial to pass quickly. I did try the steel left front rotor. On a sticky track it was great. Dry track it kind of overwhelmed things and made it damned near dangerous. The grab is substantially different. Rear I fashioned a forced air duct using plastic tubing directing the air to the rotor. I have pics of this. It worked! No more glowing rotor or brake fade. I won my 2nd track championship with this so it was worth the laughs I got? I agree with the quick disconnects. I've seen too many pose problems. They leak! Handy yes! At around 3:05 you mentioned "rock hard with 1inch". Why is that IC Light 30pk still in the kindling bin? Is the cat keeping the fire going?

Billy you need to design a aluminum roll cage for the fuel cell to keep the fuel cell in the car last year I seen a lot of cars with the fuel cells detaching from the car just a thought

Hydraulics 101. Small diameter "master" vs larger diameter "slave" will produce a mechanical advantage for the slave.
@daleolson35069 күн бұрын
Why are you using a residual valve on a disc brake?it causes drag and heat. Smaller piston on the master creates more pressure so you don’t have to push so hard.

Question, are you planning on posting the full wrap video for 2025 scheme, similar to the one for 2024 season?
@billydietrich9 күн бұрын
It will depend if Heather can be at the shop to record the day it’s done. Either way we will have a reveal video with a good look at the car before the season starts 👍
