I lived in Darwin twice and didn’t miss a race at Northline. Absolutely amazing vibe at the track, a great night out. At the time the National Midget/Speedcar campion, Warrenne Ekins, was a Northern Territory local so there were huge Midget/Speedcar events as big or bigger than the Sprintcars.

First time visitor to Northline Speedway. Love the facilities, love the racing and love that Darwin feels like you are getting a warm hug every time you walk out of the air conditioning. The locals are friendly and always up for a chat. Great place to come during the Southern Winter. We will be back.

Here in Pennsylvania (US), most tracks do have curfews. It's usually at 11pm. It all depends on the speed of the promoting team. I'm sure it's the same with other states. But it doesn't seem to be a priority.

Great facility will a enthusiastic band of volunteers, I think moving the chariots back into September didn’t work as fas as encouraging more teams to head north, only 29 cars would of disappointed the management and with really only 4-6 teams capable of winning makes it tuff. I think if a car ran 10th in all three features they would of earned less than $2000 ( I could be wrong ) which doesn’t pay for fuel 1 way and of course there is no tow money and you have to pay to nominate. But the racing was killer and I thoroughly enjoyed the Clap Perview telecast.

Unlike American tracks it has proper walls,, and gates. You know the first thing a speedway should have! Like all Oz speedways have. No crashing over a bank into a cornfield!

I dislike hot weather so it's a downer for me.The track for racing is excellent.Always a bottom and top and that's all the drivers and fans want
