Respect for the hustle!! Blue Beacon does an awesome job but I feel you, it's a bummer when the windshield is a buggy mess again after just a little bit of time!! One of my favorite tricks is this: when I stop for fuel, before pumping I spray the windshield down with that window cleaner that's in the white bottle with the blue cap. They sell it everywhere, sorry I'm forgetting the brand. But if you let it sit on the windshield for a couple of minutes before squeegeeing, it gets a lot of the bug goo off! Works better in my experience than bug remover. Stay safe and keep on truckin'!! Sending ear rubs and "goobois" to Bubba Jo!!😁💪🐶

In some Family Dollars and Dollar Trees there is a product I used in my car/RV wash called "Awesome" by LA's Totally Awesome. It melts the bugs away and costs like a little over a buck. I advise that you use gloves because when you first begin using this product it can cause a skin rash. I used this for the over ten years that I washed cars and RVs. It cleans everything.... upholstery, wheels, bugs, rims and the vehicle. Use Turtle 🐢 Wax Ice to wax the windows and vehicle to make removing dirt and bugs easier after you've already washed and get bugged up again. I had RVs coming from Alaska, BC, Ontario and all over the Midwest just caked in road salt and dirt....... Awesome shined them up good 👍.... a lot of work but made me $$$. Bought my home with cash.

So what is your year to date or annual gross earnings? I see a lot of content creators posting day by day or week by week videos but I’m interested in the yearly earnings.
@ExpeditingAmerica
@ExpeditingAmerica 7 ай бұрын
At the end of the day what I make or someone else makes isn’t what you will make. That’s dependent on who’s booking your loads, how often you’re on the road etc. to try and compare or figure out what you will make is hard to do. Most people don’t hit the ground running this is my first year as owner operator and I didn’t make it the whole year my van broke down on me. I would assume if you wanted to figure it out just multiply what you see others make by days you think you will be on the road but that still won’t be accurate. I was on the road 8 months grossed about 100k

How much do you spend on maintenance a month or yearly ? Oil changes air filter general maintenance don’t count.
@ExpeditingAmerica
@ExpeditingAmerica 4 ай бұрын
Depends on so many things. Age of vehicle, miles put on it a month, etc. Honestly I wasn’t keeping up on my maintenance like I should so to answer this I gotta do better at keeping track of the transmission fluid and a few other things better. But tires once a year Brakes once a year As long as oil changes are done every other week and you stay up on the other stuff you’re good for 100k but like I said my engine blew up on me so idk if I’d listen to me.
