Makes me happy to see that a silly little animation I made when I was just 13 years old has had such an impact. Fantastic work, I love it. So much effort went into this and it shows. Man I remember watching the original version 11 years ago and the concept of a "Negative Mario" seemed pretty cool, but seeing it again here was nice thank you so much for showcasing this it looked amazing!

Of all the Evil Marios made by the Fandom, Negative Mario is the only one that I have always liked for his personality and Inverted Appearance. Although its origin is unknown, whether it is a being from a Dimension of Negative Beings, a Clone of Mario made by a star that Mario touched by mistake, or a Demon that took his appearance.

I love your interpretation, but imo I feel like negative mario comes from the idea of the negative worlds from the super Mario game from the nes. If im correct

Whoa, this had some awesome picks for obscure power-ups and items, I liked the use of the Double Cherry. It gave this all a real freshness! And the the “ghost pepper” was hilarious and Negative Mario being able to punch through the Vanish Cap was terrifying! I wonder what’s up with the Refreshing Herb form though… Don’t collapse now Mario, you might get stuck in Hell… Eh, he has 4 more lives at least!

Wow i like how you use the double cherry for the clones. Instead of mario making them appear out of thin air in the original. Thats really cleaver. Little details like that go a long way. Great job on this animation. 🤙🏾
