Spruce Meadows 'Masters' at Home - Sunday, Series 2

Back in 1979 there was a dominant Irish force on the international show jumping circuit. Eddie Macken and Carrol's Boomerang were wowing the world with victory after victory. In 1979 at the Spruce Meadows 'Masters', Macken and Boormerang won all five competitions they started in for the weekend - including the 'International Grand Prix on Sunday.
While Macken was dominant in a single weekend, some riders spread their dominance of a single competition out over time. Nick Skelton (GBR) is easily one of the top riders in the world. His success at World Championships and Olympics Games is unmatched. Skelton has also claimed victory to the Spruce Meadows 'Masters' Grand Prix on Sunday on four different occasions with four different horses.
