You say "just trying to find" like it's a bad thing (and 350 other idiots agree with your view) when making multiple products as a kids' brand. The problem here was the pitch because she started by selling one product instead of the real thing, the company that makes multiple products. She should have sold a percentage of BigBeeLilBee and used the investors to consolidate that if it had merit. This is always a problem for the sales process in this tv show and very few come out with a deal, like what happened with alpha m and his donkey product.

Lots of companies pander to their audience like this on Shark Tank. It's a performance that they hope will resonate with their target customer, capture the hearts of the sharks, and entertain viewers. Their business is a mix of fun craft products for kids and it would have been odd if she pitched it in a suit with a rigid demeanor. The pitch certainly missed the mark, but their approach could have been successful if executed properly.
@sarcasticstranger3817Ай бұрын
What do you mean by: "Seeing the mother and daughter's relationship was great."? The mother was so manipulative, obviously showing off her daughter for pity points. The daughter was like a prop, which is terrible. How was their relationship "great"? Marlo even says in the end: "I'm happy that momma got what she wanted, she always wanted to be on Shark Tank." This makes it clear that the daughter was just dragged along by a woman who can't take no for an answer.

The Mother looks obnoxious. That's not a $15.00 marker product.

That first product they showed, which they are selling for $15 can be easily bulk produced for less than $0.1 manufacturing cost. It is a very simple plastic mould. And if it ever gain traction, Cheap chinese copies will flood the market with less than $1 price, and still make good profits. Honestly, I thought their product is that entire marker set.

“Amy are you doing this alone?” Amy: “Nouuu!” *points to daughter* This was very cringey to watch as the mom kept acting like a child and kept trying to manipulate sharks with the other products she had

lol love how the daughter rats out the mom and says ‘mommy got her dream of wanting to be on shark tank’ 😆 further solidifying that this was more so moms business and dreams than the daughters lolll

I agree with the sharks. I feel like when they didn't like the first product she just kept bringing in new things and i feel like she needs to just focus on one product at a time. ❤

It's a pretty practical concept. Watching to see how the Sharks are going to rip this one apart. Good video I learnt a lot from this one.
