They closed down in 2021. Machines broke down, and they couldn't keep up. Target offered a deal but they needed another $100k to fulfill it, and Barbara was reluctant to pour more money in. Oh well....

Nothing proprietary about that product and not proven in the market. So even 80% would have been a good deal. All depends if they can grow the company into millions or not with that 1 investment. Difficult, but not impossible.

Not surprised. Generic product, they were in Whole Foods with little sales to show for it. The consumer didnt value it. Wasnt special in any way, and their COGS were way too high. Plus they mentioned they were pricing in overhead, meaning they were probably paying themselves before the business could even sustain taking out a salary. It was bound to fail imo. She wont get her money back if it was a line of credit to a bankrupt business. Its not likely shell get her money back because the line of credit was to their business. The way she gets her money back is by taking ownership of the assets and selling them herself. I doubt they had any assets worth 150k though.

As soon as they come with the tears I tune out. It seems like the women always do this. At this point it seems like a tactic to pull out of your bag when you see things aren't going your way. Add to this her being pregnant for even more of an effect and wearing the tight dress just to make sure you didn't miss it. Men pull this crap and it doesn't fly. It just seems way too damn convenient timing when the women pull this.
