Most people completely overlook the fact that the sharks dont have any involvement once the deals done (if its actually finalized which only around 2/3 seem to be). The sharks are mostly completely detached financial investors, any involvement they do have is via proxy of whoever they assign to look over the business. These guys have hundreds, if not thousands, of employees over dozens of businesses. Non stop meetings, conference calls, flights, emails, squeezing in family time... you think theyre finding the time to check on a paper straw company they made a deal with in 2009? Or a edible soap bar in 2014? We forget about most of the pitches we see when we're halfway through the next vid, im sure its even worse for the sharks watching 9 or 10 back to back in the same day while thinking about all their other business responsibilities. Also the final mediation with the deals are taken care of by their lawyers, they dont even meet with the entrepreneurs a second time (unless its for some special filming/follow up). The sharks really dont have any personal input in the business outside of money and assigning personnel. There was a really interesting candid vid with Mark explaining most of this but has since been taken down since the show is so popular now and i guess it ruins the illusion a little bit.

Since he’s not going into debt, he has the opportunity to experience it worry free while also developing more acumen on business or whatever he might what to venture into. Honestly,Damon John or O’Leary are good partners. They come across as people that could care less about your business.

Remember the popularity of fidget spinners? Fads change all the time. You just never know how long a trend will last, not to mention dealing with your competitors. School may or may not be his best option. It really depends on what he plans to study and the quality of the program. He may be able to apply the valuable knowledge he has learned in school to his other business ventures. If he continues to profit $300k per year, he will have plenty of money left after paying for college expenses.

Umm...so arent they just slimes? Its great dont get me wrong...but yeh Also i dont think he needed investements just as stated because he literally is doing well and an investment at an early stage when he is doing better than anyone would expect.. The main reason i say this is cause I'd not give 20% of my company when i dont need the money at an early stage

That was pretty crazy that this guy did not ask for 15%. I think he really kind of messed up there, but I guess if he's willing to go double what he wanted in what he's willing to give them

Given how much he kept going over every single different cash amount and percentage offer, I’d put money on there being at least ten minutes of edited out footage where he discussed 15% over and over again, with both of them saying they’d not go under 20%
