@ “Snake oil saleswoman” implies that the product is fraudulent. It’s a legitimate product, and she’s doing the average consumer the service of not having to buy gelatin powder and stearic acid in bulk. Being a wholesale intermediary is a legitimate business model-it’s what every grocery store does. Do you want to buy food (especially perishable food) in bulk just so that you can get the wholesale discount? Grocery stores are not defrauding you by providing an alternative (and more practical) avenue of purchase.

Something that puzzles me about the sharks is that they don’t invest in a company that they feel “doesn’t need them”…she wouldn’t be standing in front the Sharks if she didn’t need the support. It’s clear to see that she needs an investor so she can setup a top of the line production facility so she can keep up with the demand of her upcoming retail sales…with online sales like hers, that’s enough of a reason to invest for me…

When they say that, they're saying there's not enough money they can invest to make it worthwhile for both parties. The entrepreneur that doesn't need them would only be willing to sell at a much lower price point that wouldn't make it worth the investor's time and money. If the company is going good, no need to sell a large portion of the company to an investor.

This seems like a viable solution to both of my issues.

And most suckers do like the people that are robbing them. She makes it in her garage and it's 100% safe to use, but she is keeping the ingredients to herself. hhmmm. I myself being a Mensan can 100% guarantee you that she is purchasing in bulk, Gelatine powder and stearic acid. She mixes it together in her garage and sells it to suckers that don't know. Don't buy into it. You can make it yourself very easily without having to pay $8 for a couple ounces. I do give her credit for being an amazing snake oil sales woman.😂 It's the equivalent of being able to sell a ketchup Popsicle to a distinguished woman wearing white gloves

This thing is genius. They need to do better PR. How have I never heard or seen this before. I was a plumber in another life and you wouldn’t believe how many houses/kitchens I had to unclog because of fat/lard plugging up the drains.

Frying isn’t bad for you. It’s the carbs and the breading. Oils like olive and avocado are healthy.

Oh man here in india we don't discard the left overs. We keep them in the bowl to reuse it later. You all are living a life we dream of. God bless you all.

that will give you cancer. should not reuse more than two or three times.

No, how about when you’re done cooking let the oil cool off and scrape it into the garbage much cheaper😂

it's unreal how shady the sharks are after the cameras are turned off and they manipulate the deals they make to their best advantage. take diamond's latest controversy for example, explains my point very well

Many times entreprenures dont tell the truth about the business. Breath-o-meter was a (bad) 5 shark deal that ended up with a lawsuit from the FTC. The guy lied about alot of stuff and all sharks lost their money. Some say they have patents, or purchase orders for walmart etc when they dont. They have debts/partners that they do not disclose. Its about doing the best deal for YOU, whoever the YOU is-- shark or entreprenure.

I wonder why you wouldn't just pour the cooking oil on paper in a trash bag, to absorb the oil, rather than using this product. Using the paper seems more economical and environmentally friendly compared to this.

Well, you find a product from Korean / Japan from the early 2000s, give it a brand, and boom, you have a shark tank deal

This was a cool Shark Tank. When I was in college I helped my friends with cooking disasters. Oil down a drain is one thing. Imagine celerey in a garbage disposal.

The oil gets solid naturally or just put some flour on it
@simonvarty996 ай бұрын
Two things, one cooking oil can be reused more than once, two when it cools down you can simply scoop it out of the pan into the bin, your product is superfluous.
@Commando303X Жыл бұрын
Couldn't one just throw the oil itself (i.e., in oil-form) directly into the garbage, rather than first "solidify" it?

Cant you just use plain gelatin and get the same results?
